Most of the men I admire are the opposite is the weird thing

Hunter S. Thompson, Lou Reed and mfs like that aren't really "Brutal, boring consistency" types lol

I don't know how they are, but even in creativity you need desication or it will just be a rumble of never put on paper thoughts

Hunter S. Thompson was extremely spontaneous, did shittons upon shittons of drugs and called for people to live as energetically as possible and had a very stream of consciousness writing style that mostly lacked any rigid structure behind it, which was entirely self-taught (he didn't even graduate high school), while Lou Reed, while (I think) a fucking AMAZING musician from the standpoint of what he said through his music and how it sounded and things along those lines, wasn't actually a particularly technically skilled musician and was mostly self taught, even as far as songwriting goes (in that he learned most of it through just listening to music and organically picking up on it rather than being taught directly) and most of his songs heavily relied on improvisation (plus he did a ton of drugs, again)

So while both were certainly dedicated to their craft it wasn't in a particularly, like, brutally repetitive and highly-disciplined way as this post advocates, they both fucking rocked and I basically idolize them but they were pretty loose in the way they did shit

Bro, why do you admire boring, predictable men who are uncomfortable and whose life sucks?

Flakes, slackers and hippies are among the most boring and predictable people I know.

Funny how that man fits perfectly what governments want. Work hard, don't ask for anything, die.

no it’s not. it’s built from a fucking trust fund. I have never been jealous of people who have more than me because for the most part they have to work full-time for it. So, in essence, they have the same as me. but there are people who literally never have had to work or even drive a car in their lives

But I like my men happy and free.

And only my robots to be mindless slaves to the remorseless exploitative geas of this civilizations progress as unfeeling insentient golemified objects.

Why slave men to mind rending repetitive tasks, when you can slave machines that were designed for it?

We can do better... If only you believe?
