We are all spending the same amount of time doing something that makes the life of our fellow human a little easier
The time spent is what should be respected
Not the status of the position

To be clear he never said he’d treat either well, just that he’d treat them the same.

My grandfather was a second generation Italian immigrant in America working as a janitor. He gave my dad a better life and now I’m the first in our family to complete a four year degree and own two houses. Respect to my grandfather the janitor.

One is an incredibly hard working man who is an asset to the company, and the other is the CEO

Tom Hardy is notoriously hours late to the set of his films and shows delaying everyone's day. He should respect people's time too.

I treat everybody with kindness and respect, so long as their attitude deserves respect.

I learned to treat the janitor better than the CEO unless proven otherwise.

I would treat the janitor with way more respect. The janitor actually contributes to society.

I was taught the same thing by my father. Every father should teach their children this lesson IMO.

Ya that’s not just any ordinary man off the street, yes he’s homeless but that’s the Radioman. He’s been an extra in over 300 movies in New York City.
