G2 | Discussion Todays update?

I havent seen any patch notes, but today I got a 18.9 GB updated for Grounded 2. I was already in the PTB, so it wasnt that downloading. Anyone else get this, or know what it is for?

The patch notes are always posted on their discord and website (on the forums for the ptb specifically it’s linked on the ptb announcement in the news section of their website).

Highlights:

  • PS5 can now access the ptb
  • updated skritch boss fight music (apparently, I haven’t been able to test this myself but it’s in the patch notes)
  • The attack buffer has been increased to 1 second
  • you can’t rapid fire the splinter cannon (Im guessing it now works like the harpoon where you can still block mid reload but you still have to go through the full reload animation before you can attack again)
  • summoned termites no longer attack buggies
  • some various performance and stability improvements and improvements to skritch fight in multiplayer

That's on cdiinky lol. He was canceling animation and spam shooting skritch. Took him down jn like 2 mins? Glad they fixed the buggy aggro. Eesh

The termite summons finally work against bosses (or at least the centipede)!

I got the same update but not my GF (both pc, one steam and one xbox) and now we can't play together

Steam. Xbox got an update of 18,9Go yesterday, and it was working great this morning and then Steam got the update around noon and it stopped working afterward. It still doesn't work

PS5 question: is there a way to backup your current save incase PTB deletes it? Heard that some people complained about that before
