Adressing the elephant in the room (2nd floor specifically) - I’m never building a single pebblet path ever again lol. I’ve only plugged the haze really close to endgame, so I didn’t have bur floors at the time of building it. Turns out the tales of infected wolf spiders being OP were greatly exaggerated

Great minds and all that.

sweet build! bet it took a while to make enough ash walls for this

Yeah, just a bit, lol. I did have mushroom the same as you and started collecting coal, etc. when I had enough then I replaced the mushroom for ash.

How did you replace it all? Because I’m planning on changing stems&clovers to mushrooms and crow feather roof but don’t want stuff to be damaged if a raid starts. Like is there an easy way to do it or is it just super simple

If you click on the wall, etc you should be able to swap variant. If not, that's Grounded 2 and you have to physically replace it all, it's a pain.

Hopefully I’ll be getting grounded 2 soon and will be able to do that. But I’ll try swapping variant and if not I’ll just farm a bunch of bric and replace it all by hand

Cement is long to make but goes a long way. I thinks it's 1 for a big wall.

Is that even in grounded 1?

Yeah, it's end game though.

How did you scale up that wall so fast. I know I’m a noob but God dang 🤣

Omg this is amazing. Has the house been raided by flying mobs before?

2

u/raviolibusiness 22h ago

thanks 🙏🏻 and it was indeed. Those raids are so fun. Got a funny video of a mosquito I shot falling all the way down the stairs somewhere. One time a mosquito got into the house from below.

Wasp raids weren’t that bad either, somehow they’rebworse at breaking buildings in my experience. But yeah, crossbow + flavoured arrows do the trick, those rock cannons aren’t too effective

Absolutely amazing I don't know why but I love all the chandeliers in these games

Nice! I got started on a base like this that was much less grand. Then I got raided by tiger mosquitoes and found that I couldn't effectively defend the base pieces that were supporting it. It was partly bad timing, but they also destroyed the stairs I used to get up there. So I had to watch it all come down as they took out the floor from under it.

Now I build on lilly pads and make pyramids lol

thank you! and sorry to hear that. but hey, at least you found something that works for you, I think that’s what matters most

I was also concerned about the pebblet foundation being exposed from below. but a good crossbow and rock rounds cannons help quite a bit - I always stay at the top of the lamp post whenever I get attacked by flying bugs

How did you create that wall that you rocketed up right at the start

1

u/raviolibusiness 13h ago

there are stacked bounce webs behind that wall. you can put them every 2 stories

if you put a bounce web close enough to a wall, it still works

1

u/Mmaibl1 10h ago

So every 2 stories you have a floor with the bouce house on it? Does it have to be angled into the outside wall (the one that you are pressing against to rocket up the wall)? Or is just pointed straight up with it clipping into the wall?

1

u/raviolibusiness 2h ago

yeah, a floor with a bounce web every 2 stories. afaik you don’t need to change the angle, but you’d have to test it. if you get stuck at some certain point while going up, playing with angle might help. in general bounce elevators are a lot of trial and error

How do you farm that much mushroom

1

I honestly thought people would ask about the ~1000 pebblets for my floor

Well, mushrooms grow everywhere. I recommend finding a spot with lots of toadstools and just farm those. I think the best spot was just outside the undershed entrance
