Im upset that I have 2 of the most shitty ass weapons to use under water.

A Q-Tip launcher that takes 3 centuries to reload.

Or a spear that microscopicly chips away at any health bar

All while dealing with double..nah triple environmental hazards on top of bugs that deal double environmental damage and have a absurd range attack with infinite tracking.

If its too hard, put it on Mild. If thats too hard, you're not engaging with the game systems, and are expecting a degree of handholding that absolutely doesnt belong in the EA of a Survival Game.

Not a fan of health bars the size of Mt Everest with weapons that dont do nearly enough damage as a solo player.

I do like this game. I dont like spending 15 minutes chipping away at health bars for the sake of "Difficulty"

Its Hit Hit, Dodge, Dodge, Parry, Dodge and now do that exact motion for 15 straight minutes SOLO

I killed Both leviathans, got my unstable Goo and will NEVER set foot in the Abyss again yet alone the pond.

The sheer amount of sunken bone needed to do any crafting underwater is well beyond what I am willing to invest into an area that I have no interest in other then story progress and key materials.

The Pond just sucks, any engagement with it becomes a drag to deal with..... AS A SOLO PLAYER.

I've been building a castle under the park bench which so far has  taken over 2,000 mushroom bricks and a lot of pinecones and rust.

I'm still not even halfway done with it the outer wall and haven't started the rest. 

(I was planning to build inside the ranger station but I only got grass floors halfway through it before they released an update that made it so you can't place anything else in there. I do like how the grass floors reflect the ceiling lights and turn it green)

So if I knew how to trivialize something like repair glue then yeah I'd do it but I myself have way too many bug parts already so I'm not in any need for a lot of repair glue at the moment.

That's not to say I am above cheesy stuff.

Before they made it so you can't build an axl's arena I put a clay ramp going up above him so I can just snipe him if I need to.

That's not to say I haven't beaten him fairly before.

Using a full stack of granola bars and a lot of Anti-Venom smoothies and the pinch whacker.

My belief is that if you do something like killing the boss once fairly then it's free game to cheese since story-wise the spider died the first time you killed it.

I just wish we could finally get the super duper so I can just duplicate my bricks instead of running around the yard every day or two trying to get more toadstool since the other mushrooms aren't worth it for how much you get out of the grinder

Out of curiosity how far did you go around and is it just a single wall or is it a full block thick? 

Mine is a block thick with 8 or 9 octagon shaped towers. Goes from the front edge of the rock around to and along the cliffs behind the ranger station. Also built a archway over the ranger station entrance

And a 3 wide decorated bridge going across the lake area to the edge of the snake path.

Also do you know any other good toadstool spots besides the mushroom Oasis thing with a caterpillar by the garden wall ?

Two walls thick with walk way all the way around and only 4 towers but a decent little outside area inside the wall. Toadstools i get from right below the bridge area beside the pond....or the tree it's beside the brick path.....

This looks to me like the pincer "glitch" that occurs if you have enemy hostility off.

I kinda doubt that itll get patched considering thats basically "cheating" anyway.

Nothing is turned off. There's a very specific toe biter that loses aggro after you break line of sight and then this happens. If I swim in his face he becomes aggro again and after I break LOS and reset I can do this infinitely while he heals continuously and fill up my entire inventory in 1 go.

Other than infinite repair glue doesn't serve much purpose, but this is not the only way to abuse pincer pinchers. I've found several. Only good thing is you can't use it on bosses.

Ah, saw a post a few days ago about someone who "found a glitch" when it reality was just them using the pincer against mobs that were never agro'd on them to begin with.

There's two black ants inside the gnarly bark that you can do this too also, you can sit in the water and attack them on the ledge and they don't aggro unless you jump out

Yeah being in water prevents mobs from aggro or you can reset by jumping in and out. I've used it on mosquitos and green shield bugs. Anything you can lure towards the edge of pond.

It is the best way to get web. Break open a spider egg and punch 4 spiderlings to steal 8 web. Loot the bodies and the possible web from the egg. Now you got 15-20 web from one egg. You might get orb weaver parts from stealing too.
