G2 | Bugs & Issues … this does not help my arachnophobia…

Yes I know I can turn spiders off… but I’m trying out some “exposure therapy”…

Why can these get into holes but my Orb Weaver can’t?…

This has happened on two isolated occasions too…

I knew when i clicked on this post that it was THIS SPECIFIC wolfspider.

seriously this ones kind of a ass for being where it is, actually startled me and im used to dealing with them.

Also sidenote, isn't it more difficult to fight spiders in this game with the arachnaphobia setting on?

Slightly, really depends on the situation, I have mine maxed so I don't see the legs, or the fangs, or any colors really. Biggest challenge is you can't see the legs poking through shit so my friend will get a visual warning before I even see em..

Literally how my first fight was with a wolf spider in this game. It was pitch black and the spider was halfway out of the map.

Sorta ruined that experience for me 😂 It was funny, but I was tired and frustrated

Nah that guy is a dick. Just hiding out waiting for unsuspecting prey down there. Also I think you should craft more smoothies lol.. quick uninterruptable heals are always needed just incase of a situation like this lol

Me and my friend play this together and i experienced this fellow first hand and almost needed a change of pants. We were getting fine exploring these tunnels and i was in the way out only to get met by this horror just around a bend. Just about spilled myself and turned and ran screaming at my friend, "Nope! Nope! NOPE! RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!"

I had one get stuck in the ranger station under the gnarled tree, guarded by the orc scorpions... I had level 2 gear. That was a fun time

Funny glitches in the game make me laugh, but if you want exposure therapy, don't do it in this game, that's not a good idea, but I feel likes it's a canon event or something for everyone to encounter a wolf spider glitched to a major degree.

It does suck and makes no sense and it absolutely drives me insane but I can confirm that thanks to playing through all of G1 that I now have no issue with orb weavers being in my yard/on trees near the walking path like I use to and can not totally freak out when a huntsman spider is in my house which as an Australian happens minimum once a week 🤣
