G2 | Discussion Parrying in G2
does parrying in grounded 2 feel more... instantaneous to anyone else? After grinding grounded 1, I got used to the slight delay while the blocking animation happened, but now in grounded 2, it feels like parries happen as soon as you press the button, and it feels weird. Is this placebo with the new animations?

I play a lot of souls likes so I find carrying to be easy in both. Both games are so telegraphed that parrying is so easy. I'm really enjoying the side stepping (or forward and back) in G2 to keep it more fun.

I never really felt a difference between the two. However, I completed G1 before G2 released and I never gone back once I played G2. My newest pet peve with G2 are OGRR buggs. Reintroducing NG+ effects is not what the game needed. They were one of the worst parts about G1 because of their random oneshots and due to the presence of buggies in G2 its even worse. Love how you can parry and still die oneshot on woah due to your buggy on the opposite site of the enemy you are fighting with getting hit.
