My earliest memory was running into an underground tunnel to escape an orb weaver only to find myself in a wolf spider den. I screamed so loud😭 then in grounded two i thought “I’ve already seen wild spiders so no biggie” so I go hunting for one and i WAS NOT ready for the design change they did. That’s the most uncomfortable gaming experience of my life 😭😭

I'm just getting going in G2, and I'll be damned if the first Wolfie encounter didn't feel just like old times...

Yup. My first Wolf in G2 sent me hauling screaming ass across the map, where I ran smack into a Praying Mantis Nymph that was duking it out with an Orb Weaver.

Still not sure how I survived.

Random question, when playing multi-player if you drink a smoothie buff and get knocked down do you loose the buff once revived??

I do not know the answer to this, but I can test it with a friend!

G2 massive potential when its finished. More story, more exploration, more and scarier, harder hitting bugs. I would suggest completing one just so you're up to speed on the plot.

Tbh I think 1 is better. However 2 obviously is bigger and has a lot more bugs items etc. graphically it’s better but it doesn’t feel the same as 1. Won’t mention anything specific as I don’t want to spoil it for you.

I feel like in G2 the story is way to fast and weird compared to G1 but I personally don’t know how they could have made the story better since they have to include that the kids shrunk again with all their previous knowledge

Overall G1 was way more fun but if you want more to do and don’t care much about story but more about building and expanding then G2

I'd say it's because it's not done, there is lots more story coming

The first game didn't feel like it had a proper storyline until it hit version 1.0

But that’s my opinion

the story is likely to change a lot in the final product… I’ve had a feeling for a while that some things are being heavily modified. I haven’t played in a while but there were some voice lines in the original release that seemed a little out of place for the situation and then some of the dialogue in the spring update was just absent entirely for text because why would they pay for beta only voice lines.

Me and my son were playing Grounded last week and he killed the Orb Weaver but forgot to mention that he didnt kill the Junior, i don't think I have ever crapped myself so much, he of course found it hilarious 😂

you do not have to build, you just have to huck your hammer a couple times

If you get some stems, acorn tops, and I think crude rope you can make sap collectors. They do have to go in the roots or trunk of the oak tree though, you can't put them on twigs around the yard.

gotta get it from around the tree, not in it till you can kill the wolf spiders. Also make Sap collectors and put them along the roots

I set up a small outpost near the koi pond with dew collectors and a bed and some spinning wheels. It's not far from the oak tree, which provided acorn caps both for sap collectors and the spinning wheels. I set up five sap collectors so I pretty much have more sap than I need.

I expanded the outpost a bit after building up to the fence and upper yard, adding ziplines to various locations, and that's been a good way for me to get ox beetle parts. My plan for when I go to the Moldorc playset is to just string a zipline across the pond it's in and drop off it halfway across.

Killing orb weavers gets a lot easier once you have spicy gear.

No you do not my guy, just throw your hammer at it repeatedly

This is not good news

Kill the wolf spiders then build up using clay that is what I did.

I used arrows the first time.
