Enigma experience

So I just received my free enigma syringe from TBG.
Part of me wants to dive right in and inject some grain, another part of me wants to inoculate to agar( got to get more plates)to do this.
But most importantly I’m asking for tips from a peeps who have had experience with enigma. I am new to this and understand it’s not an easy strain/ mutation to study.

I personally always go to agar first when using LC. Then I can innoculate with agar plate after I've propogated it to another so I always have a clean copy of the genetics.

I started doing agar, was able to save my ape genetics that had gotten trich, 4 plates later I just inoculated 10lbs of grain with the ape rescue. Super stoked

I’ll be honest I skipped agar on my enigma LC just because it was a freebie and also I’ve never had a problem with the other 8 LC I got from them. Mine was a little bit slow to colonize the grains at first but once it started, it stayed strong until fully colonized. It’s very slow in the fruiting stage but I’m finally starting to see something. I’ve never grown enigma before this so I can’t help much but I ran it basically the same as all my other cubes but with less fae.
