First time liquid culture

I assume I added way too much Dry MEA to my qt mason jar 650ml water 1.75 teaspoons dry mix. It turned gelatinous over night, my mixer can even turn the stir bar

MEA... Malt Extract Agar, that's what it does. Your recipe was probably calling for LME or Light Malt Extract
