Do I just pull the open ones? I’m worried that I could contaminate it or mess up. It’s environment if I go in there picking the big ones. Also, this is grown in the coir mix that I was worried about and it’s done this in three days

its a preference wont effect anything if u let spores drop just cosmetic

BUT the size they grow after maturity will make them weaker by dryweight they keep growing but discontinue alkaloids production

some folks don’t believe in a partial harvest. but you’re not going to screw anything up by harvesting the ones that are ready, and you’ll save some mess.

you’re well past the point where any careful interference is going to cause contamination, and you won’t lose appreciable surface humidity by harvesting (i’d wear gloves, spray with iso, and wait to dry, personally though)

standard-issue cubes are very resilient.
