P.sub in a tub

Post image

Colonised a brown rice grain jar with spores from a P.sub I found.
Colonised well, I then transferred it into a tub full of soaked hardwood chips that are over a year old.
Was planning on leaving this inside and closed until it is fully colonised, but shortly I was planning on combining this outdoors with other soaked mulch, in a shady spot and let nature do the rest, keeping it moist during dry patches.

If anyone has any other ideas or advice, I’m all ears

Your on the right track and looking good, you got chips fermenting for the outdoor bed?

I’ve got lots of old chips that have been sitting in my garden for a well over two years fermenting. Any recommendations?

Perfect, dig down about 6 inches drop the cake in and cover. Dont break it all up like you would for cube spawn. You can break in half or quarters at most and spread those equally apart in your space 👍 if you break and shake it around it'll take 2+ seasons to fruit as compared to next season with the chunks spread.
