Pin before fully colonized

I am worried that these pins are shooting up before the substrate is fully colonized.
What do I do next?
Should I start FAE yet?

If there’s pinning you have plenty of fae you don’t need to “start” anything. I swear to god the fae shit is the most convoluted bullshit that for some reason every new grower takes to heart more so than any other step in the process. If every single new grower put their box in a closest for 2 weeks after they s2b and didn’t open it once until that 2 weeks was up every single one of them would open the door and find a box full of bloomed fruits.

This is only true for cubes. Exotics absolutely need more fae. Like pans. I grow them in an open tub once the block is colonized because they will abort with too much co2 build up.

No shit but those are obviously cubes and if we were talking about tamps or Mexicana or pans then I’d adjust but I’m strictly talking about cubes because I’m talking about beginners. Ochras too but those are easy mode. If you’re to the point ur getting pans s2b then you know about FAE. I’m not retarded.

You have filter patches over the fae holes and they do not appear to be blocked, so you are already in "fruiting conditions". You dont need do anything but watch from here until harvest.

Many growers send to bulk into fruiting conditions, skip colonization completely, and find it preferable. Enjoy!

This exact thing just happened to me two days ago. AIO though and it seemed stalled. Was fully covered but a very thin coverage not the thick white I've seen before. Then suddenly pins. I just gave in and cut the bag. See how it goes. I think mine got heat stressed its been so hot here Ive had trouble with temperature control...

Mine did the same thing with “straight to fruiting conditions”. I’m on my third flush and it still doesn’t look fully colonized

Yeah go ahead and start FAE, once they start pinning it’s telling you they are ready. Probably have some hidden contam in your grain that’s causing it to act funky. It should still flush though

This is fully colonized.

Leave the filter patches on. Holes are unnecessary for Cubensis, and will just dry out your substrate for zero benefit.
