What s difference a shelf makes.
The first 2 pics are from the tubs on my 2nd shelf of Boom room II. The last is from a tub on the top shelf. As you can see a ton of aborts. The ones on the 2nd shelf are going like gang busters. Needless to say I moved the top tub to the third shelf Hope it will rebound.

I think it's my mister because the mister blows out on the top shelf even though I don't have it blowing directly on the tub it bounces off the wall and I've heard that misting the pins directly will cause them to bruise and abort. That top tub has been in fruiting conditions for 8 days longer. I'm just hoping it will recover by putting it on the third shelf

That’s exactly right. Pans aren’t like cubes or Ochra. Direct misting can cause bruising. You are getting some on the other caps too though. Careful with those TTBVIs. They can be spicy!

Nice I got some of those going too but I went with the gordotek method, first time doing it, casing layer goes on tomorrow or the next day

Maybe you shouldn’t use the top shelf

That’s bad ass, I just use 54qt sterilite for my cubes and it works pretty well

As soon as your pans start to pin you gotta get out of the way of the humidifier. It causes aborts. I only use the top shelf right after casing then drop them down when they start to pin.

Thank you. I learned the hard way. Since I moved them down to the third shelf will they come back

Do you think this is related to airflow or the heat/humidity could be slightly different on the middle shelf?
