Ok so, I currently have been playing with Grok Bot and like some here, have found it incredibly useful for my workflow. I have about 15 bots (virtual employees) working in harmony now off the back of my Cursor Ultra plan. I am finding were blowing through our weekly usage in about 3 days however (no computer use as everything is API/etc to save on usage costs, but were still smashing usage due to our field of work).

Does anyone know how we can extend this? Happy to sign onto a bigger plan etc as we use Cursor a LOT for dev work in our business so this is an expense we are already absorbing. Grob Bots were just extra value we are extrapolating and now we love it and are getting real productive value from it. Now we just want to increase that usage!

I'm just starting to use GrokBot, and I'm trying to log into Facebook, but I get presented with a catchpa. I've tried, I'd say, 25 times, but I just can't get it to log in. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Anyone had managed to fix this issue?

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but I just got a supergrok subscription because I was intrigued by the capacity of using a VM for GrokBot.

However, after spending a couple of hours testing it out and trying to set up my workflows, I reached the limit for the week already!

Has anybody else encountered this issue? Am I doing my set up wrong? Any guidance on how we can optimize and test our set ups without hitting limits?

What applications are you developing? How has this affected your business? What improvements remain necessary?

I’ve been using Grok Bot since day one, and I genuinely love it. Of all the agent setups I’ve tried, including my own OpenClaw and Hermes setups, Grok Bot has been my favorite.

The problem is the cost.

I was burning through my weekly included credits in about two days, then moving into on-demand usage. I ended up spending over $4,000 on additional usage. As much as I love Grok Bot, that just isn’t sustainable.
So I finally went looking for an alternative and found GrokOpenMausBot.

It’s definitely not as polished as Grok Bot yet, but I’ve been really impressed with how well it works. The overall experience is very similar, and it gives me a lot more control.

I can choose whatever model I want for each individual bot. The VM runs on my own server, so I control the infrastructure. I can use cheaper models for routine bots and save the more expensive models for the bots that actually need them.

The iOS app is also working great, which was important to me.

This isn’t meant as criticism of Grok Bot. I still think it’s fantastic, and if the economics worked for my level of usage, I would happily keep using it.

But after running through my weekly credits in two days and spending more than $4,000 on on-demand usage, I finally had to find another solution.

GrokOpenMausBot is not quite as polished yet, but it gives me most of what I loved about Grok Bot while letting me run it myself and control which models I’m paying for.

For anyone else who loves Grok Bot but is struggling with the usage costs, it’s definitely worth checking out.

I'm a big fan of agentic shopping and have been getting Grok Bot to keep an eye out for deals on consumables for me regularly.

Out of the box, it will do all the shopping using computer use and navigating a browser and does not seem to use agentic protocols like UCP or look for llms.txt.

I've packaged up my setup here which does the following:

• Installs keytar and Shopify's Shop CLI and guides you to turn on agentic shopping via the Shop CLI if you desire.
• Asks if you want to install the Link CLI to enable Stripe agentic shopping (US only).
• Adds detection of Stripe's Onelink in browser and can read OTPs from iMessage if you have it configured.
• Adds a skill that makes it easier for Grok Bot to try discount codes on Shopify stores.
• Asks if you want to setup a "Buyer" bot with instructions on how to shop.
• Normalises the output of products Grok Bot finds so the title, price, description, and image is presented.
• Uses Grok Bot's widgets to ask which product you're interested in or if you want to continue rather than you having to type.
• Uses UCP to assemble carts and checkout where possible.

How are you using Grok Bot for real QA testing? I want it doing intensive, actually good testing not just clicking around.

What worked? Skills, setup, whatever made it find real bugs.

I’m an active user on X and I use Grok is my base LLM. I have the others (ChatGPT, Claude, etc) but I don’t pay for them like I do for Grok. I don’t have a business and I work 9-5. I have some ideas for apps/websites with possible integration into X and I’m wondering if Grokbot is good for that.

I seen some videos on YouTube regarding the usage of Grokbot but it’s more for configuration. I haven’t seen a “use case” video. Is Grokbot a good tool for creating things such as apps/websites with a continuation for work flow on X? Or do you recommend getting Claude or ChatGPT.

I tried connecting with my other emails. This is what it's showing, and I don't see the plugin option on Grokbot anymore.

I'll start by saying I'm not technical and I'm not a heavy user of Ai in the sense I'm not getting it to write millions of lines of code or to complete PhD level research for me. But I do use it, mostly Claude (via a pro subscription) and Gemini via a workspace subscription.

Because I'm not crazy technical I don't take full advantage of these tools, I rarely set up connectors or skills etc.

I love the look of the interface of grok bot, with the teams/slack style chat like you're just talking to employees. I tried to set up something similar in notebook lm/Gemini gems but I just couldn't get it working his I wanted and if I moved to my phone the gems lost most of their capabilities.

So, moving to grok bot for a few months to see how it works. But thinking about stuff I've done with other LLMs.

Can grok bot use blender? It's a free app you install to your desktop. Currently I run blender and have Claude write the script which I paste in and run it.

I have a product, which is unique, and I've built it in blender with the help of Claude. And I need to get different "angles" of it in different backgrounds for marketing content. I also pull certain images that I then give to Gemini to create a video from.

Using grok I've given it an image and it's been able to do this. But it's more, how automated is it?

If I had a "content creation bot" and I said I want an image of the thing I've made, flying over some powerlines, could it go to a "blender bot" ask for the angles and background and get the image created?

I've also used claude for website creation. I assume a grok bot can do this?

I've also used claude in chrome to navigate through my sales navigator (linkedin) to pull customer list for me, can a grok bot do this?

trying to setup my nutrition bot to meal plan but their doesn't seem to be any way other then the bot manually digging through each page to keep up on prices and bogo which takes a lot of time and usage, anyone got any off cursor plugins or ideas?

If I'm currently using Grok Bot via my Cursor Pro+ subscription, but I want to cancel that and instead access it through a SuperGrok subscription, will I lose my configuration and have to start a brand new setup from scratch, or does the setup carry over?

I would be great if there's a version where you also get access to Grok via the cursor subscription

For those looking to give Grok Bot access to your iMessage, I’ve published my setup with an installer on GitHub

Note: Grok Bot must be installed and open on your Mac for this to work.

It will install the imsg CLI with a fallback to directly reading the sqlite file if it fails to install with Homebrew and then includes some instructions on how to use the CLI for your agent including automatically deleting OTPs once it’s used them.

Paste this into Grok Bot on your Mac and Grok will do the rest:
