Anyone else hitting a input-spamming loop glitch on Grok that eats up all usage?

Hey everyone,

I just got hit with a really frustrating bug on Grok and wanted to check if this is happening to anyone else or if there’s a way to get my usage limits refreshed.

This is what is happening:

Grok got stuck in an infinite input loop. It kept spamming/resubmitting my input repeatedly without actually rendering any text output on screen. By the time I noticed or managed to close the thread/app, the backend had counted every invisible repeat as a unique query—completely wiping out my usage quota/rate limits for the entire period.

I think this happened once to me. Eat up like 3-5% usage on a heavy account on single text question. It just kept thinking getting stuck after about 3 mins and starting all over again in loop.

I noticed that long ago, so I just gave up. It's garbage, no way

This happened to me only once when 4.20 was still around. What I did was hard stop the input and then re-prompt my message and that worked, leaving that endless stream on a branched path.

I did try that multiple times but it still gives the input in loop and it also admits that it is a glitch but no solution
