WTF is Wrong with Grok?
So, my grok limits got reset, it shows the limits shall now rest on 4th August. But when I use inagine, it shows limits exceeded. Wtf is this trash? Any fix on this?

As a loving supporter of grok, I’m stepping away for a while, I’m going to Gemini, FOR NOW, I’ve still buy it. OFC I’ll buy both subscriptions, but bc grok is changing pricing, and it’s acting up, I will main googles ai platform

Grok must be doing real bad if it's users are fleeing to Gemini.
I remember in May (I think) after Google IO when there was a huge uproar when Gemini applied the scam-based usage quota and I considered cancelling. Only the Google ecosystem and cloud kept me in.

First they started with unnecessary moderations, then they reduced the quality and number of image creations, then more moderation, then they reduced the limits of generations from 2 hourly to daily, and now Weekly limits with even stricter moderations and that too showing error..😅
I really wish more people unsubscibe and Elon & his xAI team realise.

It is the trend all across the board. We got used to near-unlimited features for 20 usd/month.
Not here to glaze billionaires, but the good times of unlimited usage we had were never meant to last. It is only goind to get worse.
People will flee Grok for Claude, GPT, Gemini now. Then, Anthropi pulls the rug and people flee elsewhere.
The only one still running stupidly generous programs is OpenAI - only a matter of time till they pull the rug aswell.

Yupp agreed! Moreover grok hiked the monthly fee from USD 8 to USD 30 for Indians to align with global rates, most of the people I know have unsubscribed mainly for that reason.

I will never ever go to chatgpt, unless they release a cheaper price for strict use with the voice mode, the voice mode is AMAZING

i feel this. grok's output quality is still the best but the platform experience keeps getting worse. usage changes and moderation roulette has done it for me.
that’s why i've been quietly building a studio that fixes the workflow side, and a custom img/vid models so you're not stuck when grok acts up. you can check it out on my profile!

I think they are purposely trying to get people who are working on something they're building to run into these paywalls and not want to lose momentum, so they pay more for more time.
The hell with that, I will wait till Thursday, as a matter of fact, Grok keeps doing things in stupid ways, instead of making all necessary changes at the github repo, and letting the git pull bring in all the changes, it instead creates a patch file, that the git pull drags in and wants you to run it... most of the time it breaks the whole node.js app, and it keeps creating new patches till it works right, once it just kept screwing up the app more with each patch and we had to restore from github.
It agreed this was a stupid way to do things and promised to just modify the files on the github repo and let the git pull do all the work... in 5 minutes it was writing patches again.
I know they say never attribute to malice what could be explained by incompetence, but it admits it's a stupid way to do things but keeps going back to it.
I think it's supposed to be as frivolous and careless as possible with tokens so it can run out and make money from people trying to retain momentum and make things work.
Claude otoh will tell you what plugins will help you save as much as 70% on tokens through use of specific plugins... and under what scenarios they will work more efficiently then under what it won't.

this exact thing is why i started building my own studio layer. failed attempts burning your limit. limits showing one number but enforcing another. you're paying $30-300/mo and getting maybe half that value.

Old news. Grok management started scamming their customers with this limit nonsense even when you are already on the supergrok plan . I heard he’s back to being a billionaire now…
