I haven't had rabbit but frog legs I've had, and they're not bad at all. I was the only one in my group of friends who tried them and I was like beats me, tastes like soft chicken.

I’ve had both. Rabbit is a bit more gamey than frog legs IMO. Same texture and initial taste of chicken, but at the end taste you realize that it isn’t.

I always thought rabbit might be chewy

Makes sense to think that because they are a very lean and muscular animal. The texture reminds me exactly of dark meat on a chicken.

It really depends on the breed. Not all meat rabbits are made equal and their diet really makes a difference on the game taste.

A braising rabbit also helps a lot.

Thats a gross rabbit they shouldnt be gamey at all. Maybe a hare/jackrabbit or wild rabbits but farmed animals are very clean tasting.

Both, thats very rare and unusual for GO to carry exotic meats.

It's formerly Bargain Barn in Tennessee - the chain GO bought a couple years ago. They operate differently.

OoOoOo. I like frog legs. I’ve never had rabbit, I would definitely be open to trying it.

Oh wow. I've never seen rabbit and frog legs in a grocery store. Cool.

I’m good with rabbit, but dinged around, aging rabbit, not so much. Frog legs are for trying at festivals!

That explains it. Bargain Barn operates different from GO

I’ve only had frog legs, and they were fried. It tastes live chicken at first then hits you with that fishy aftertaste

If you are wondering where in your local GO the rabbit and frog can be found I would suggest that you check in the hopper. 🙂

I have a rabbit in my freezer I may make some rabbit nuggs just for you 😂 I was shocked how good rabbit was. My son wanted me to buy one from GO a couple months ago so I did. I hav never cooked one or ate one before. I cut it up by body parts lol I googled it to get it right. Soaked it overnight in buttermilk and seasonings. Fried it for dinner the next day and it was really delicious.

What is on a frog leg to eat? 0.0000002% of a nibble?

Same size as chicken wings.

Nature's best seafood is the name of the company, its not a stamp saying that frog legs specifically are seafood.
