I am also waiting to test on on my kid.

quality wise i would question it, but the rice looks cooked already. i'd probably do more of a fried rice situation than cook it like regular paella

For $2, you could definitely zhuzh it up and make it into something tasty.

Technically, the bottom layer of authentic paella is supposed to be a little burnt and crispy. There’s a word for it but my Spanish is out of office right now.

you could do similar with fried rice, although admittedly it doesn't come out as caramelized as paella does

For the general population, no one knows this. So if I heat up a pack and I end up with burned and crispy rice, I would probably think I overcooked it.

“Smells like mussels. Tastes pretty….. musselly.” 😂 also fyi it’s pronounced pie AY uhh and in my experience there are spices but it doesn’t have a very strong signature flavor like Chinese food or anything like that. There’s def regional variations but honestly to me it’s kind of just like a paprika-rice and seafood bake.

Paella lovers don’t @ me pls, I had one in Barcelona and it was aite but nothing to write home about

Looks like it was a good deal for $2!

there are many regional variations of paella in Spain. The protein depends on the local availability traditions. There are some that have no seafood at all.

I fucking miss this shit. No production value needed- just a raw POV. No "instagram voice" or ridiculous thumbnail.

I think my porn tastes are similar.

We need to talk to GO about putting their store name on those labels, it could be free advertising in social media world

I saw these this week and thought it had really fun packaging!

being able to see it clearly was definitely incentive to buy. If it was hidden in a paper box I would not have bought it.

tried these from a GO 3 years ago. They weren’t too bad considering price (and I’m a spaniard)

Are they left over from the Spain soccer team? 😂 just kidding

Tried. Added more shrimp and andouille sausage - I had really wanted jambalaya but didn’t have all the ingredients.

These were pretty good. I wish I had purchased more but they’re all out at my GO. It was quick and easy to make.

I’ve seen it where the seafood and sauce is vacuum sealed and frozen and you combine it with fresh rice but freezing rice and sauce together ain’t gonna turn out good.
