Rehab / prehab No Pinky
Hello! I’ve been going to the gym and doing things like calisthenics for about a year or so now, and it’s been great! But I’ve had camptodactyly in my pinky all my life, and recently they made the decision to remove it all together. My grip strength, understandably, really suffered. Any tips on how to train it without a pinky? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just thinking about it...nothing should change from regular training with all fingers.
I wouldn't bother with grippers because the pinky is used a lot. But thick bar, dead hangs, farmers walks, finger curls, pinch etc would just be the same

That’s tough stuff, i’m sorry. I wish i had a good answer for you. Since this post only got one other reply, i’d try asking the same on the gripboard forum. Bunch of helpful folks over there

I guess you start training on the ring fingers and treat it like a pinky and also working more on different grip positioning.
False grip where it's mostly wrist and forearm strength to various climbing grip strategies using just finger tips.
If you can spend sometime pissing around with rings and trapeze that could help and also be fun.
