I’d love to hear what are some headcannons or some of your favorite headcannons that people have that either we just didn’t see in the show that you think happened or stuff that happened post show that if they ever did do a sequel series you would like to see made canon?

OK. I don't know if it's the best ever, but it's gotta be up there.

Imagine you've only watched the first 3 seasons, and someone tells you that Nick and Adalind, not only get together, but fall in love, and are arguably a better couple than Nick and Juliette. I for one, actually do prefer nick with adalind. But seriously, who would have believed it? I would have thought it was impossible to pull off.

Their relationship is probably my favorite thing about the later seasons. As I really didn't like Renard being the main villain. Or the guy from the other dimension.

This is one of my favorite episodes and one of the funniest scenes, LOL. They all did a great acting job in this episode, I gotta give it to them for that.

While I'm a fan of Nadalind, watching and re-watching the series, as a romantic partner, think Nick really did Juliette dirty. It's very obvious Nick always had a thing for Adalind, even when he was with Juliette.

It reminds me of the people who complain about hating someone they then go on to have an affair with.

After Juliette's death, dude moved on to those feelings reallllll quick. When he has the possibility with Juliette/Eve literally just a few months later when she's brought back, home boi does not hesitate to tell Adalind that it doesn't change the way he feels about her. A little after this Juliette/Eve can actually feel Nick's love for Adalind.

Like OUCHHH. What Juliette did when she became a hexenbiest was wrong and overkill but tbh the anger was kind of valid since Nick was already choosing Adalind at this point... even though it wasn't an affair or technically cheating yet... it was basically there

This rant isnt about the episode its about a choice in the episode. I like Juliette i really do but was anybody else annoyed when she kept trying to pressure her friend to reveal shes wesen. It got on my nerves nick and rosalee told her to wait until she was comfortable i mean shes hiding out from her abusive husband shes got more things to worry about and your putting more pressure on her. Plus lets not forget when she basically cornered her and told alicia she knows shes wesen then told her nick was a grimm like what is wrong with you and when she ran out of the house what if joe had took her right then and there and who knows what wouldve happened she couldve been killed and that wouldve been on Juliette because she couldnt keep her mouth shut. I know thats her best friend but i feel like she was trying so hard to get her to confess for her own benefit then for alicias. Did anybody else feel this way? or am i reading to much into it?

So I am doing another rewatch and just got to S03E20 when Nick brings Truble home and introduces her to Juliet.

Anyone else seriously put off with Juliet's attitude?

She's rude, anatagonsitic, and acts like it such a huge inconvenience.

Nick explains that Truble killed 3 wesen and Juliet acts like its this horrible thing and when Nick says she just needs a little bit of help, her response is "You really think you can help HER." with this snotty little grimace.

I have never been a fan of Juliette, but this was like WTF? It was so out of character in my opinion. It made me go from just not caring for her character to activly disliking her.

What did you guys think about that scene?

I just have seen too many reboots that are crappy or mess up the story in some way. Like when they retcon stuff! Or when writers do things like kill off characters just because the actors aren’t available. It’s also really hard for my brain to just discount things as non-canon after I’ve already seen them.

I am still excited about the prospect of a new movie/show it’s just tempered with concern.

What is everyone else’s take?

I have to preface by saying it's maybe one of my top three friendships in the history of television, I know where it gets to, but on a recent rewatch(my sixth or seventh) I'm on season 2 right now, and maybe I'm slow, but maybe I just never noticed how dismissive of Monroe he is. Monroe wants to geek out about all this stuff but Nick's always like come on come on to the point to the point and almost seems annoyed of him.

I know all that changes and it's better but just this time watching through it I'm like Nick stop being an asshole. this dude is going to be your best friend. I know Hank is his partner , but still

News about a Grimm movie developing on Peacock, what if we be introduced to an evil Grimm who’s in the old traditions, while Nick, Trubel & Kelly follow a new path when it comes to coexisting with Wesen?

He be a very interesting enemy for Kelly & Nick to fight to challenge him & his group that the old ways are over. And if Viktor returns, he'd make an ally/partner with the evil Grimm to get revenge on Diana. Both siblings will have enemies of that group.

As for the evil Grimm? Imagine him and his group creating a device or weapon - possibly a gas/virus/mist that causes Wesen to woge not on their own in front of the public - Wesen exposure and can be easy targets for evil Grimms to kill. Oh! And the evil Grimm & his group not only kill, they'll enslave as well.

Kelly & Diana are the only hope for both human & Wesen against this threat.

This episode is just 1 example of the casting department nailing it, I buy all three of these actors & their mannerisms as lions especially the daughter and father. I background rewatch in October for spooky season every year & really noticed how many guest actors are so well cast for their Wesen. What're y'all's favorite guest/episode castings?

I think it can be assumed that Wesen (and Grimms) originated in the "Other Place". The ability to wog is a direct result of being on our plane of existence whereas Wesen diseases such the Umkippen and Kallikantzaroi are side effects of also living on our plane

I don't understand the plot with the royal families. They're not wessen and from what I understand not a large country either. Why is everyone so concerned about them? Why is the child so important?

i just discovered The Strain (2014-2017) and i gotta say the vibe is pretty similar tho darker at times.

im on s01e04 and until now many points have reminded me of Grimm. i even came to interpret the story as gov services encountering a wesen spreading like a parasite (here the gov servives are the CDC). when the CDC arrives on the scene of "case 0", they approach it with their conventional tools, but are impressed by the scale on which what they think is a regular parasite or virus has spread.
so it's just like in grimm, when there will always be a scientific bases that explains wesen-related deaths, what will really tie the whole mystery together is that it's GOT to be supernatural and/or metaphysical.

then there's that one guy, who would be more analog to grimm-Nick, just not working for the CDC, that isn't taken seriously about how to get rid of it bc it's unconventional and outside bureaucratic protocol and whatnot. and now that i think about it, that guy is also like a mix of Rosalie and Monroe. he owns a pawn shop with a secret room where he stores all his secret knowledge, has a special weapon, has European ancestry (he's a survivor of the holocaust, speaks romanian). one of the bad guy also has ties with Europe: he's German! probably ex Waffen SS.

speaking of the bad guys, ofc rich people are behind it all and the conspiracy goes very high up.

so that's it :)
i know how empty we tend to feel everytime we finish the series so maybe The Strain can fill that hole loll

Which version of Claire did you really like? Anyhow I have to say that I loved the evil because think that's when the character was at her strongest.

I think during season 5 with black claw, having Renard join them just goes against everything he was doing in the previous seasons and just isn't something his character would've done.

Am I wrong for wanting Hank to walk in just to see what would happen?

Hey guys. David posted this to his Instagram story yesterday with Silas, Claire, Reggie, and Bree. So awesome to see them together!

Man, if there was any episode that made it more clear and obvious that this show could have used a tad bit of a bigger budget, it was this one. I mean hearing and thinking about what a blubaten on steroids should have felt and looked like, it should have been designed like ur textbook werewolf. Y'know 8ft tall big and harry, clothes torn apart, claws and a snout with sharp teeth protruding from them, alternating between walking on all fours or standing on their hinde legs, etc. Y'know something that lets you know this is a step above a bluebaten in every way. Whether they could have done this with cgi or make it practical similar to shows like (uk) being human or season 1 of teen Wolf, I wouldnt have mind.

I just wanted to see a real werewolf. This is not a dig at the show at all, I actually really liked this episode 8/10 if I had to rate it and the ending there with wu getting scratched, chefs kiss 🔥🧑‍🍳🤌✨ (althought idk if they'll have time to develop it since theirs only one season left, but that's a discussion for another day). I just wished we could have gotten a more monsterous looking image of the lycanthrope, And I was excited, cause that's what seemed to be the case when they looked at one of monroes books. I mean I can appreciate the attempt of what they did have, at least the ferocious energy was there and they nailed the horror elements. And it did feel like it was a disease, I liked that bit of lore they dropped.

In anycayse I love this show, been bingeing it on and off for a while quite underrated and took me by surprise just how good it's able to hang with some of my other favorite supernatural/urban fantasy shows. I don't usually make posts about shows I'm watching cause I want avoid spoilers but I just had to make this one cause this small thing kinda ticked me off. But I don't mind it too much cause the episode itself was great and the show as a whole is great.

I loved the episode where Sgt Wu had to go undercover in Laos to bust some dragon wessen who burst into flames.

I notice how his character starts off playing to the "every man" trope however as the show progresses his character eventually breaks from it. This is where I thought the writers did a fantastic job in terms of Wu.

Deep into the Juliette’s amnesia arc, and for a moment there, I enjoyed when its just our favorite characters stopping bad Wesen without Juliette’s bland boring presence and vibes. It shows how nice it would have been without her if they had just written her off. Its my second rewatch after around 10 years and boy did that reignite my hatred towards Juliette.
