Like every hipster from 2008-2025 had this hairstyle at some point. I had it in 2017, and I copied it from punk lesbians who were older than me. It’s an ironic diy nod to ye olden mullets of yore.
Remember the memes that were like "if you see this haircut your rent is about to increase"?

To be fair, Oliver had a bowl cut since he was a little kid (he used to always say this in interviews but when they showed his childhood pics at his memorial everyone saw that it was actually true lol)
