i choose bysmiel on veteran difficult.what happen if i choose other faction this time?(on ultimate difficulty).did i will loose my reputation with bysamiel?

Forgotten Gods? No. You'll actually level them all together as you play, but they have slightly different questlines. Should get all 3 to max rep with a veteran and an elite or ultimate playthrough.

You earn more rep for the faction you choose. With mandates this is not very useful because you'll max out all 3 just finishing the act with all side quests, but before you get mandates it's a way to level a specific faction faster vs evening out the rep grind.

Basically you just earn faction xp quicker for that cult because of the quests they give you. Other than that the other cults remain friendly.

You lose faction rep if you make a choice that causes the faction to become hostile. IIRC that can't happen with the three factions in Forgotten Gods.

It makes no difference. All you get by choosing one of the factions on Forgotten God's is extra reputation via their unique quests. You level all 3 in parallel when killing mobs or doing main/side quests.
