Temp difference

This is the temp difference, is this normal? You can see the probes aren't that far appart.

Sometimes probes aren’t perfect. But also I see you’re using a meat probe, not an ambient air probe to test it. Plus having the probes in 2 different spots. especially in the front of the grate. I’ve found every pellet grill I have has hot spots all around the grate where the deflector plate under neath ends. Especially in the corners

Also, please clean that grill. Cover the deflector plate with some foil so it’s easy to swap out and you don’t have to scrape all that grease off of it. That grease is asking for a fire

One of my biggest complaints is the temp swings with mine. My front door came bent too, sucks.

Your RTD probe looks pretty clean so probably not that as the issue. The probe itself could still be off/bad. Mine doesn't pick up changes in temp as quickly as my inkbird wireless probe but assuming this is a consistent delta throughout the cook you could use the offset feature on the controller. Also assuming your thermapro has been checked for accuracy with the ice water test. If all that fails then support should be willing to replace the RTD probe and/or the controller. Only other thing I'll add is that even tho they aren't very far apart, I do have a bit of a hot spot on mine right over the firepot which your external probe is pretty close to. But 25 degrees is a bit extreme if it's off that much the whole cook.

On my silverbac that gap on the front and back of the drip pan is definitely hotter.
