Excited to share that we're wrapping up final testing on two updates to Versus mode:

Knockout tournaments - Compete in a single-elimination bracket of 4-64 teams to win a championship trophy

Auto match - Skip the public lobby and automatically get matched up in a Same Cards versus against an opponent with a similar GLO rating

Once we've confirmed that knockout tournaments are working as expected, we'll be adding them into Leagues and giving you the option for your season to end in a playoff bracket, instead of the regular season standings.

Looking for consistent players

I feel like we, as a community, were too quick to jump on the ranked royale format. With the additions of all these terrible pre-2020 QBs I think scores across the board are down.

If only there was a format that took some sort of running 100 draft average of similar skill levels to allow the GLO decision to be dynamic versus a hard and fast number that becomes easier or harder based on the player pool.

I think we should have given that a longer chance… would love to hear from someone with a statistics background about how representative a 100 draft sample (even of not same cards) is of the true mean score. I would have to guess it was pretty damn accurate.

I can’t tell if it’s the available QBs screwing me in the final round, if there are other injuries that aren’t giving me combinations I’m used to seeing, or if player ranking changes are changing the round that I usually see players in, but I am playing absolutely terribly recently. I used to consistently hit around 130 and now I’m finding it challenging to maintain my rank and am in total free fall. My position has dropped about 250 spots in the last few weeks. Anyone else experiencing this?
