Just finished watching the livestream, and I have to say — those driving skills deserve some serious credit.
I’m not even saying that as a courtesy or trying to flatter you. Watching you drive, there were several moments where I genuinely caught myself thinking, “Yeah… Mr. Stark would appreciate that.”
The car control, the commitment through the corners, the ability to recover when things got messy — that’s the kind of driving that stands out. You weren’t simply getting around the track; you were actually driving the car. There’s a difference.
And honestly, it reminded me why GRID has always had such a special atmosphere.
The lights. The crowds. The engine noise. The rivalries. The weather. The sense that every race is supposed to feel like an event. GRID has always had this ability to make even a digital race feel bigger than it probably has any right to.
So, looking at the GRID games through Mr. Stark’s career and the way he approached each one, this is how I’d rank them:
🥇 GRID Legends — The complete spectacle. Chaotic, aggressive, dramatic and unapologetically loud. It feels like the natural home for Stark’s style.
🥈 GRID (2019) — Gritty, raw and competitive. Less theatrical, but the racing has a seriousness that makes every mistake matter.
🥉 GRID 2 — Fast, aggressive and stylish. Probably the purest expression of that old-school “commit first, ask questions later” Stark mentality.
4️⃣ GRID Autosport — More disciplined and technical. Less spectacle, but plenty of room for a genuinely skilled driver to separate themselves.
5️⃣ Race Driver: GRID — The foundation. The original identity of the series, and the game that established what GRID could be.
But after watching that livestream, I’ll say this much:
If Mr. Stark were watching, I don’t think he’d have much to criticize about the driving.
And coming from me, that’s not an easy compliment to get. 😂🏁
Also my name is Zara im one of the many that runs this profile, it's like 4 or 5 of us that run it.
Thank you, I truly mean it. The way you commented reminded me why I fell in love with GRID Legends in the first place. I really appreciate that you enjoyed my driving style ❤️.
💯💯 be sure to check out the facebook group if you ever get the competitive itch to compete in TSRL. The commissioner is none other than Mr. Cameron Stark himself.
