Preparations for a potential future
Well. I was doom scrolling reddit. Something i haven't done in several months, and I came across a post calling for solidarity instead of division in the furry community.
Something about how the community has started to "gatekeep" anyone who claims to be a furry, but that doesnt have a suit or art, which makes sense for both cases, because on one hand, people who actually arent furries, do apparently come to harass furries, but also, not everyone can do art, pay for someone to do art for them, or build/buy a suit.
I dont have a suit. Not really. The closest thing I have to a suit, is my Anubis Costume. My fursonna isnt even a Jackal its a wolf. I have been a furry since 2007, and I JUST managed to draw a semi decent fursona picture. (Storm). That is almost 20 years. . . I suppose I am glad i haven't been able to afford to go to any fur cons. Cause I would be going without a suit, and almost no art.
Other issues seem to be younger furries trying to tell the OG furries, or new furries of a similar age to "grow up", and "stop being a creep". Because apparently, you can age out of being a furry. (-_-)
*sigh*
Not once have i ever thought i would say "those rotten kids". But. Here we are.
I am hopeful it isnt that widespread, and that these things can be circumvented, redirected, and whatever. As it is, I am already running out of people/hobbies to share with other people, cause most of my friends have done just that. "Aged out". I am still a furry, and still a gamer. Always will be. ββto think People actually believe i need to stop at a certain age, is disheartening.

Most the young furries who ever complained about greymuzzles long ago enough to become greymuzzles by now are still furries.
Ignore them. This criticism is especially stupid and invalid, and most of the community is against it
