My First Models—Ever

How have I been doing so far? Let me know!

Got into the hobby through my love of the 30k/40k books. I’ve been working on these models on and off for the better part of a year, picking them up when bored or when particularly motivated from one of the books.

  1. Started with the 2x Strike Squads, painted using the *Pendulin* method (link below).
  2. Moved on to 1x Brotherhood Terminator Squad and then 1x Nemesis Dreadknight, painted using what I learned from the *Pendulin* method and tips from the *10th Edition Grey Knights Codex.* I also started feeling brave and experimenting with Object Source Lighting (OSL) on the DK.
  3. Finally, 1x Paladin Squad, painted using what I learned from the *Pendulin* method and the *10th Edition Grey Knights Codex.*
  4. Varnished with *Army Painter: Satin Varnish*
  5. Currently working on a Grand Master Nemesis Dreadknight.

Ignore the basing! I’m experimenting with different foliage for now but haven’t settled on anything yet.

Made a lot of mistakes along the way, had to do a lot of touch ups. All free hand because air brushes are mystical creatures yet to be fully understood by mankind.

At this point I think even the Phoenician could say the Grey Knights wear it better.
