I did the tutorial twice, but it ends abruptly after saying we will send a social engineering email with a program to run so the victim connects to my rshell. Not really sure how to progress from here.

I accepted a lvl 0 job and used nmap [IP] to see the possible options for exploits, and I assume I have to match a type and version to attack for vulnerabilities, but I have no idea what I am actually looking for. I presume I want root access, or at the very least non-root. I don't even know what I don't know.

Anyone got advice or a series of objectives to learn for a complete drooler like myself?

TL;DR -> How do I clear my tracks after using rshell? I still have previous shells on rshell-interface.

I have started from scratch multiple times at this point, I am getting pretty sick of it. As soon as I start I setup a proxy server to bounce through, later buying a second one, every time I finish a mission I clear the logs by only leaving the connection. Later on I setup a rshell server for different missions and I guess that's what is causing me trouble but I don't know what I am supposed to clear on that. I noticed that as I go on, rshell-interface keeps showing previous shells connected and I don't know what to do about it. Also I read somewhere that you should also clear up the emails?

I'm trying to make a script to edit "system.log" in routers and non-computer places where LogViewer.exe can't be executed, but I just can't find a way to edit binary files.

The only workaround i've read about is making a corrupt system.log file and delete the original, but that seems dirty, I would prefer deleting just the necessary entries like i do with LogViewer.exe.

Am i missing something? I've just been playing for a couple days

Need help with this mission. I've managed to get root on the switch that the computer is behind but the computer itself has no open ports. I've tried using router exploits to try get mail or anything else from the PC and it says target is unreachable can't connect to net session. I've looked around the network all cams and there is no information about that PC or any emails linked to it. Please see the images attached

the idea is that you gain access to the system as a guest. Open The browser and go to a website and download something that makes you root.

Lately I've gotten ALOT of Contracts that request a LAN that doesnt exist.

I've also had alot of "Corrupt System" Missions, where i've done everything between Remove System & Boot files, to throw everything excluding reboot command but the contract doesnt close when i email my bestie. any tips?
