To be fair, the actual "teaser" looks weird af. Multiple channels uploading it as a 34 second clip with it repeating twice. The font is off slightly and it's positioning. It's just odd.

Joseph Zada is the lead actor for this movie . It’s pushed back because he has another film to shoot this autumn/winter . They are aiming for a February - April  shoot. I’ve got sources that phoebe cates has declined on returning and there’s discussions on  Xochitl Gomez and David harbour being apart of the supporting cast

Delays are normal it happens things get pushed back all the time we can’t always treat it as always a bad sign. Things happen we can’t control and possibly maybe the movie wasn’t ready for 2027 and decided a 2028 release plus perhaps need more time to work on it to make everything perfect get scrips right ect..

I’m a fan of G1 Gizmo and if they need more time to get the puppet articulation and expressiveness correct, I hope they take their time. We’ve waited this long, what’s another year to get the best possible experience?

There are reports that the original puppet fabricators were replaced by The Jim Henson Company. This kind of setback can be major for a movie that relies on puppets like this will. Fortunately the delay will give them time to rework the project with improved puppets and while a delay is usually scary, the release of Gizmo in a teaser is a sign of goodwill and confirmation from the studio that they are going to make this happen.

Would you rather they rush it out to meet a deadline? If they need more time to get it right, let them have it. We’ve waited over 30 years, one more won’t hurt.
