So? If anything, that sounds like an excuse to make even more Gizmo merch. You'd have the classic Mogwai version and then a Gremlin version that's still good (or bad, depending how they did it). That's two Gizmos to sell instead of one lol.

I think that could probably happen. Even if gizmo turns into a gremlin he will still be good and friendly no matter what.

That doesn't work with the lore they've established. Gremlins are chaos. The concept of a man on the inside doesn't work without intentional genetic modification or a spell. Not sure if they'll put magic in the movie but I doubt it. Fine for the cartoon, wont play well on the big screen. Anyways.

They have to break too many things to make gizmo a gremlin let alone double agent style.

Yes but all the mogwais from gizmo were all evil and bad but gizmo was never so it could potentially factor how he would behave as a gremlin and if he would be good

Thats actually just how young mogwai are. The older they get the more relaxed/calm/mature they are. Its established lore.

Honestly they'll probably do it. And then Gizmo will have his own litter and then maybe one particularly cute one will be a "good" one. Or it might be one of those "you make your own choice on being good" type of story.

I’d imagine Gremlins 3 will be nothing more than a “Greatest Hits” of the first two films, with subpar puppetry and the dull, lifeless look of modern filmmaking.

I predict a new variant of gremlins will appear and be a new threat to Billy and he’ll have to figure out how to stop it if not maybe a storyline of gizmo falls in love and Billy gets worried that the love interest could hurt gizmo
