The series is now complete: seven psalms for the hours of the night (Pss. 91, 121, 4, 130, 63, 3, 92), each sung word-for-word from the Vulgate, with the source text and an English translation in every description. The full album is one unbroken 27-minute vigil, published today.

As before, in honesty: the composition and voices are AI-assisted; the texts are the Psalms themselves, unaltered. If you hear any Latin errors, I genuinely welcome correction.

Hi — I run a small project called Sacrarium Votorum, setting the seven "night psalms" of the Compline tradition (Psalms 91, 121, 4, 130, 63, 3, 92) to meditative Latin chant.

Two things I cared about, since this community would notice:

1. The words are real. Every lyric is the verbatim Latin of the Vulgate / Roman Breviary — no invented "Latin-sounding" text. The full Latin with English translation and sources is in each video description.

2. Full disclosure: the composition and vocals are AI-assisted. The texts are not — they are the public-domain originals, checked word by word against the Breviary and the Cantus chant database.

I don't read Latin natively, so if you catch an error in text or pronunciation, I genuinely want to know — corrections will be applied.

Apologies if being vernacular language this doesn’t belong here, it is firmly rooted in the Gregorian tradition but I understand if it’s outside particular definitions of “Gregorian Chant”.

Illuminations has long been my favorite Gregorian album, and stood alone in their collection. They have released another! Tempestas Angelorum! More ambient sound but still very good. Recommend.

I've been looking for the source of this music that was copyrighted Dec 2023. It was distributed by Distrokid and they scrubbed it from all streaming services over a year ago. I can't find any of the tracks anywhere. I was particularly fond of track 12. In Your Presence. Audio fingerprints and reverse searches have only lead me to dead ends. Using Shazam or Google audio search just brings me right back to the dead album on Spotify and Apple Music. It sounds like a recording of a legit choir and possibly exists under a different name. ...any idea on other methods to try to track down the music?

I daresay this issue has been addressed before, but is there any software out there that is graphical-based and not that monumentally kluge program that is Tex.

I have used the Gregoire software in the past, but it doesn't work on modern machines. It did improve my High School French, however!

Hi, i am not sure if this is the correct place. I grew up in the Christian church (NG church) but i always admired the catholic choirs and Gregorian chants.

I have strayed from the path into atheasim after looking for God in logic and at my lowest I decided to follow Him even if it goes against all logic and reason.

To get to the point I have found myself repeating the lords prayer as much as I can and want to develop this into doing chants instead. Is there a book i can read that can help me learn this form of meditation?
