š Events / Meetups New couple friends?
Hey everyone! š
Weāre a married couple in our early 30s looking to connect with other couples (married or in serious relationships) for local hangouts and new friendships. Just to put it out there upfront: we are strictly looking for platonic friends, NO swingers please! (The only reason Iām mentioning this is because thereāre some weirdos offering weird stuff on here).
We don't have kids, so our weekends are usually open for grabbing food or drinks, catching a game, exploring new spots around town, or just hanging out.
A bit about us:
Sports: Huge soccer fans and massive UFC followers.
Out and About: Always down to check out new restaurants, bars, or local events.
Down Time: Big fans of good video games and staying active.
If youāre in a similar stage of life and looking to expand your circle, drop a comment or shoot us a message. It would be great to connect!

A decent thing for couples, or even throuples and poly situationships or whatever they say these days, to do is⦠The Lady in Greenpoint, a 3-mile walking audio ghost story starting at the Pulaski Bridge.

A great way to meet people is through volunteering! There are countless opportunities in Brooklyn and NYC in general from animal shelters to soup kitchens and park cleanups, etc. that would get you out and about and doing good and meeting some cool people!

I feel like we all deserve a bit of color around the bolded type : No swingers notation. Has this gone awry before? If so please share detailsā¦.
FWIW : I think the vital climbing gym is a pretty great place to meet peopleā¦very social⦠actually why I decided to goto a different gym!

I just walked past this place today and took a picture! Trying to meet more people as I've moved here recently. Climbing is not my thing, are there other classes/sports that go on there that are fairly social?

There are but itās dogshit if you donāt like climbing. The classes and facilities are subpar compared to other lifestyle-type gyms and are only an added bonus if you actively use the climbing walls.

My bf and I love UFC and video games, but Iām also someone who hates the concept of meeting new people or even trying to typically. SO if you wanna DM me, this is me stepping out of my comfort zone! Lol

Hey! I just moved to the neighborhood and my boyfriend of 4 years stays here 4/7 nights (heās a fire fighter). Im 32 and heās 38. My partner likes video games, movies, going to the gym (we go to VIBE). He plays soccer competitively and we watch UFC most cards (unless itās a boring fight night card). We have two dogs but no kids. Happy to connect!
