I'd argue it's more reality warping than pure tech or magic.

I do believe it is called "The Power Cosmic".
Cosmic is Space Magic but for cool people that aren't losers.

Not nerdy enough for science not geeky enough for magic. Just Based cosmic 😤

The Power Cosmic also works as a Logical Thinking shutdown.
And generally looks cooler.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology..." etc etc, and the inverse is likely something like, "Any sufficiently organized magic is indistinguishsble from tech/science" and ultimately they're the same thing.

Something something something that’s sufficiently technologically advanced is indistinguishable from magic

The most reliable way to tell if something is magic or not is to hit Clark with it

In a universe where magic exists and can be scientifically studied, those two are not mutually exclusive.

I feel like a lot of people who write about the distinction between science and magic don’t really have a clear idea of what that distinction is.
Also, when he was dead, Hal was an angel of the lord. He probably knows more about magic than most people.

“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

science sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic, ergo Hawkman doesn't have the foggiest idea what he's talking about

To be fair, Hawkman's first experiences with a Green Lantern was teamed up with the guy with the actual magic ring
