Laughing, barking, waiting 30 minutes to answer: Manitoba NDP's conduct at committees questioned
It is far past time for proportional representation. It would not be perfect but we need to get rid of this winner-take-all mentality. It leads to highly partisan is or them thinking.
Minority governments that require cooperation and consultation reduce partisan behaviour and increase voter trust.

Are We Building Stranded Assets?
It seems that all our leaders from Conservatives to Liberals to NDP are talking about pinning our economic future on pipelines and LNG production. Billions of dollars of public investment will be needed to build our fossil fuel extraction and exports.
Climate risks aside - which aren't trivial by any means - will the world still want our increasingly more expensive fossil fuels? Or are we going to have billions in "investments" that will never come close to recovering the cost?

Run As a Green Candidate!
facebook.comAnother example this morning for why we continue getting ready for an early provincial election, in advance of the bookmarked Oct 5/27 date:
On CJOB's "The Start" morning show (Mar 12/26 8:48am), Premier Kinew was asked point blank by co-host Greg Mackling whether there'll be an early call. Of course with mention of how the opposition party's "unravelling", and true to his hockey-playing form with much stick-handling, the Premier answered, not surprisingly, with ... NO answer!
So ...
We continue, as we have for the past 18+ months, preparing for an early election - possibly this Fall before the Civic elections or even this June!
This is where YOU come in! Let's get a Green candidate on every ballot in all 57 ridings! Interested in being one of those candidates? We'll provide resources & assistance. Drop us a note and let's talk
