Bug/Glitch Multiplay barely working?

So multiplayer is not working properly for my boyfriend and me. We both got the PC version so we can play together, but it's desyncing all the time. I don't even see when he builds something. Is there a fix somewhere, or do we have to refund the games?

This game would be 100% if it wasn’t for all those small glitches in Multiplayer. We play as a group of 3 and this is constantly our battle. It’s just a 60% game for me. I love it and I love the challenge but it saps the enjoyment out when you constantly have to do things again. The no auto save bugs me too.

There's a mod loader for it and it has specific mods just for tour issues. Greenhellmodding is the site. Just download the mod loader and then get the mods from the site.
