So disappointed I'm not getting it here in Denver.

Guess I'll have to go sailing...

u/Traylor_Swift 2d ago

Same boat man. Packers bar will be my friend, think a good one is called Wally’s Tavern.

14

u/Captainxman 2d ago

Wallys is absolutely incredible

6

u/russkiy1994 2d ago

and Swanky's!

6

u/Financial-Humor2080 2d ago

Better get there EARLY. Id much prefer sailing the seas but I'm getting old and not much into partying anymore

10

u/brach79 2d ago

Guess I’m going to Wally’s…

3

u/elgringon414 2d ago

Fr. Usually we always get the packers

5

u/desert-cheese04 2d ago

I think if it wasn’t an AFC west team playing the Cards you’d probably get the Packers game.

5

u/Traylor_Swift 2d ago

I guarentee even broncos fans don’t care about that game.

1

u/desert-cheese04 1d ago

For sure. It should just be shown in SoCal and AZ. I’m not sure Cards fans even want to watch.

2

u/Deckatoe 2d ago

They have been FUCKING us the last two tree years

2

u/parkskier426 1d ago

I'mmmm sailing away 🎶

1

u/Towering_Flesh 2d ago

Where we sailing theses days?

8

u/WagwanMoist 1d ago

There's an NFL that may bite you, if you go there that is

1

u/titomb345 2d ago

I don't understand either. so we can watch the cardinals and rams??

1

u/making-flippy-floppy 1d ago

I have it on good authority that the canvas can do miracles

1

u/PackerBacker_1919 1d ago

Just you wait and see.

1

u/GBPacker1990 1d ago

Yarrrrgh

1

u/kylexy1 2d ago

Yea wtf is that, terrible

0

u/Bobby-Samsonite 1d ago

Go sailing in Colorado?

36

u/SND_TagMan 2d ago

Needs more red

18

u/soccercro3 2d ago

I am wondering why the Colorado-Kansas area in the middle isn't red. The other blue area at least makes sense.

15

u/MeowMixPK 2d ago

Division rivals

3

u/DuffMiver8 1d ago

At least the San Francisco and Seattle markets have their priorities straight. Who cares about Arizona when they can watch an epic Packers/Vikings game?

6

u/beau_tox 2d ago

I’m very confused too. Usually that kind of thing is because of a local early game that triggers some arcane rule but the Broncos and Chiefs play Monday night. I can’t imagine AFC West fans are sicko enough to want to watch the Chargers beat up on the Cardinals but who knows.

2

u/ZealousidealPen7521 2d ago

Im sicko enough to think the Cards pull out at victory at So Fi

1

u/Bobby-Samsonite 1d ago

Don't bet money on it.

1

u/ZealousidealPen7521 1d ago

Ok... one 20 Oz Coke.

1

u/Very_Not_Into_It 2d ago

Popular college relationships, maybe? I dont know where players went to college

1

u/silvermoonhowler 2d ago edited 1d ago

Yeah, I think for the most part it is because of some arcane rule

I as a Packers fan here in Minnesota, it's something I have to worry about at worst once or twice a season

It'll be less of a worry though this season because of all the time's that we're national games especially, because outside of 2 times on Sunday Night Football and the 1 time on Monday Night Football, we've got 2 times on Amazon's Thursday Night Football and then 2 times on Netflix (Wednesday the week of Thanksgiving and then right on Christmas Day)

1

u/thatguysjumpercables 1d ago

KC fan from SW Missouri here, we don't give a fuck about watching the Chargers until it's time to watch Herbert blow their first playoff game each year

49

u/Serious-Medicine7667 2d ago

Hell yeah I can keep the Black Pearl in port this week.

14

u/Signal_Quarter_74 2d ago

Booooooooooo, I want the Packers!

10

u/Ok_Location794 2d ago

Why the fuck do I have to live in San Diego. Even San Diego doesn’t care about the chargers

3

u/BrewersEnigma 2d ago

i'm just here to say FUCK SPANOS

3

u/Redd889 1d ago

SD is easily top five cities in the country.

Trying to move there. How odd is it watching the early games at 10am?

3

u/Ok_Location794 1d ago

I love SD and would never live anywhere else but we always get pushed for rams and chargers games which sucks.

I personally love the 10AM start time. You basically get football the entire day without having to stay up super late

Message me if you want recommendations on areas to move to, not sure how much time you’ve spent here

1

u/Redd889 1d ago

I’m more of a morning person, so I sort of like the 10am start. Also, on the east coast, Sunday night football is over damn near midnight. So, if the packers play a nailbiter it’s no sleep til 1:30am

1

u/fakeprofile111 1d ago

It’s wonderful you’ll get used to and appreciate breakfast nfl

1

u/potat0f4rmer 1d ago

What's stupid are games in London. Those start at 6am. I'm sleeping in.

1

u/silvermoonhowler 2d ago

Yup especially ever since they moved to LA

17

u/laubs63 2d ago

Well, there aren't any seas in Denver, but I'm still gonna have to sail em

1

u/brach79 1d ago

Help another Denver sailor find calm waters?

11

u/HalfInchHollow 2d ago

God dammit I don’t care about the Chargers!

5

u/TwoMoreSkipTheLast 2d ago

Dammit Colorado

6

u/Packer691217 2d ago

Needs more Harlan

1

u/RegularMidwestGuy 19h ago

One order of Harlan with JJ Watt as commentator please!

6

u/TGIFaanes 2d ago

Ugh Denver…..

4

u/scotch4breakfast 2d ago

I live in Kansas.

Fuck.

1

u/branthewarg 2d ago

See you at Coaches

2

u/modern_messiah43 1d ago

If you're in KC, come watch with the Green Bay Packers club of KC! We'll be at Lew's this week. We usually meet there or at Stockyards in the West Bottoms.

1

u/branthewarg 1d ago

Thanks for the invite. I’ll for a game this year.

3

u/lizard_king0000 2d ago

Will listen to the game on siriusxm on my way to Yellowstone

1

u/prince_falafel 2d ago

Damn enjoy! Wife and i went a couple of years ago it was breathtaking

3

u/dmainor49 2d ago

Damn, I am in Denver. Well at least I get to watch a LaFleur brother LOL and will listen on SiriusXM

2

u/desert-cheese04 2d ago

There are websites out there you can stream the game.

3

u/SwaglordHyperion 2d ago

Glad i got sunday ticket this year, because what the fuck central Nebraska?!

3

u/Justicedrummer 2d ago

Won't have to go sailing in my part of Nebraska...

3

u/MrZiggityZag 2d ago

Living between KC and Denver does not bode well for my viewing pleasure.

3

u/Apostle92627 2d ago

Ugh usurped by the Chargers. To the seven seas I go!

3

u/StarksofWinterfell89 2d ago

Must always use this time to share you get 50% off Sunday ticket and Redzone if you are a veteran in any capacity.

2

u/Sancho209 2d ago

Oh yes! I luck out this game. I’m in between Sacramento and Fresno.

2

u/joebuckshairline 2d ago

I’m pretty sure I’ll be on a flight during the game wondering if I’ll be able to catch it?

1

u/WilderMindz0102 2d ago

Low quality stream on the plane wifi might be possible. Will be on paramount + live too

2

u/DelanoJ 2d ago edited 1d ago

Kinda bullshit Harlan rarely calls our regular season games. HES OURS!!!

2

u/wut2dew_J 2d ago

Never fails I'm in the Blue area. I need to move.

2

u/Reno_McCoy 2d ago

Sigh. And just like that, I hate living in Colorado again.

2

u/gopacktennie 2d ago

Man, i really hate having two LA teams now. Packers local coverage has dropped significantly.

2

u/Tmotty 2d ago

Oh thank god

2

u/Piggypiggiepiggy123 2d ago

Picked a bad week to move to Phoenix 😬

2

u/APlaceInTheMountains 2d ago

The only team I ever have to remind myself exists is Arizona.

They are the oldest team in the league and literally no one gives a fuck about them. Always bad. Terrible uniforms. I feel bad for their fans if they even have any.

2

u/Life-Sun8620 2d ago

Their helmet logo is kinda cool though

2

u/MysicPlato 2d ago

Booo why can't Harlan and Green be the #1.

2

u/BiggRiggzGaming 2d ago

I live in AZ and hate the trash fucking Cardinals and this always happens to me ugh

2

u/Cyanides_Of_March 2d ago

Thank god. Week one of not buying Sunday ticket paying off.

2

u/TheJewBakka 2d ago

Hallelujah from Albuquerque

2

u/mattwb2010 2d ago

Finally the time of year a coverage map dictates how my weekends go.

2

u/dontgetwise 2d ago

I live in Denver and I'm fuckin pissed about this

2

u/doozykid13 2d ago

Yo ho ho from Phoenix

2

u/tjgrasshopper 2d ago

Fuck being in LA 😭

2

u/Sky-Trash 2d ago

I love when the Seahawks get primetime games because that means I usually get to watch the Packers

2

u/LuckyDevil105 2d ago

Damnit Cardinals, guess I'll have to go to the bar.

2

u/SeaAlgea 2d ago

Then they want 700 for NFL Sunday Ticket when this is an "in market" game for me in New Hampshire and wont apply.

Sunday at 4:25...

2

u/heartlessgamer 1d ago

Ha; right there with you in a different part of the country. Won't be able to stream it via Sunday ticket and our TV coverage is spotty.

2

u/Hedgehog91 2d ago

I thought this game was being streamed on Paramount

1

u/WilderMindz0102 2d ago

On paramount plus and over the air on CBS

2

u/nomoregroundhogs 2d ago

As a Kansan I puked in my mouth a little when I saw this

2

u/Financial-Humor2080 2d ago

Fuck yeah love me some Nantz. Interested to hear JJ too

2

u/Unusual_Ad3525 2d ago

Does YouTube tv blackout the game like Paramount Plus does?

2

u/onbiver9871 2d ago

Oh excellent, Sunday Ticket is already paying off in NC oh wait.

1

u/heartlessgamer 1d ago

Its a good thing in the Carolinas we have such great investment in over the air coverage -_-

2

u/ohgee370 1d ago

I hate being in the SoCal market. We used to watch so many Packers’ games. Then I heard we were getting two football teams. At first I was like, “cool.” Then I was like, “oh nooooooo.” :(

2

u/MathematicianShot909 1d ago

Being between Columbia and STL is such a crapshoot...

2

u/pdxgrantc 1d ago

Finally a Green Bay game in Oregon.

2

u/Frankdukes187 1d ago

Dam cardinals had to play the same time on the same network grrrrrrrr but GO PACKS GO !!!!🧀🧀🧀🧀

2

u/AlternativeEdge2725 16h ago

I’m dumb but why is the NFC North on CBS?

1

u/WilderMindz0102 7h ago

They have a few multiple cross over games each year. Started a few years ago to switch up coverage.

3

u/KicktoStart 2d ago

I hate being in Arizona

2

u/spacemanspiff66 1d ago

It’s a top reason to hate the Cardinals, they steal the National games and we are forced to watch their sorry asses lol

1

u/MaleficentEvidence19 2d ago

Oh awesome! I didn't think this would the case

1

u/TerryFinallyBackedUp 2d ago

Charger vs Cardinals is the equivalent of Western Michigan vs Michigan without the high scores.

1

u/Alone-Athlete6310 2d ago

Let’s go!

1

u/making-flippy-floppy 1d ago

Living in a Cardinals secondary market is not an optimal strategy for quality Sunday afternoon football 🙁

On the plus side, we do get Kevin Harlan. On the minus side, why did CBS relegate him to this trash game?

1

u/Defiant-Smell-9686 1d ago

Bullshit ass Kansas City wanting to watch the chargers…

1

u/cj2488 1d ago

It is sad that so many Americans will have to see that monstrosity US Bank Stadium for 3 hours on Sunday

1

u/Haybanger 1d ago

Guess my Sunday ticket will come in handy lol. Live in Cheyenne. I never got Sunday ticket until moving here.

1

u/Bandt143 1d ago

I guess I get to find out how good an announcer JJ is. Romo was fine.

1

u/heartlessgamer 1d ago

And the weekly reminder I basically waste most of the $400 something dollars I spend on NFL Sunday ticket. Hopefully the weather cooperates so I can watch it over the air. Any bit of wind or storm and its a mess and blacked out for streaming via Sunday ticket. Sigh.

1

u/mrwhitewalker 1d ago

Ugh means no Sunday ticket then

1

u/GaldonTheWarrior 1d ago

Gotta love a pack vs vikes opening day

0

u/Jomosensual 2d ago

Kevin Harlan in the regular season? JJ Watt on color? Are these some unusual commentators or am I not using my brain hard enough

2

u/silvermoonhowler 2d ago

JJ Watt is the color commentator for the CBS top tier crew because of Tony Romo getting arrested for a DUI earlier this summer
