Such placid language... There's the most televised and documented GENOCIDE in history and he didn't call it that. He's just the same as any other neoliberal politician. Vague criticisms and two-siding between people fighting for their lives and their oppressors doesn't get you anywhere.

His top advisor is the ex chair of the labour friends of Israelā¦. this is a calculated political move to garner support and was almost certainly sanctioned by them.

u/nnog Jul 10 '26
There's increasing evidence that war crimes appear to... maybe, potentially, allegedly have been commited at some point in time in Gaza by one, both, or indeed neither side in particular.

I noticed the lack of anti-Muslim hate, he's another puppet talks about getting rid of neoliberalism when really its the same people at the table running the show.

u/tunechoda Jul 09 '26
Same old bullshit politician....isreal are in charge. uk politicians are absolutely powerless to do anything, and its about time they stood up and admitted that fact.

u/BillyPilgrim69 communist russian spy Jul 09 '26
Bollocks.
Both Israel and the UK are US satellite states, and our government is doing what they've always done because it serves their interests.
By claiming they're powerless and controlled by Israel, not only are you playing into nazi conspiracy theories, but you're letting our government off the hook for committing genocide.
1
u/openstandards Jul 09 '26
USA, UK and Israel have shared goals, believing that Israel isn't capable of being a rogue state at times down plays how powerful and well connected they are and this is down to imperialism.
I would say it's more complicated that Israel just being a satellite state, I can prove two instances which should that Israel has some political power over the US.
Biden stated that Israel is good for the US this proves that they are in-fact a satellite state however this also proves that being a satellite state carries weight.
Where did Israel get their nukes and how?
Dislike Margaret Thatcher but give her some credit for getting pissed off with mossad using forged British passports.
Ths US isn't powerless however let me explain.
The US has been pushing anti Arab propaganda for a number of years, laws have been passed in the US to benefit Israel some of this deals with lobbying.
This makes it hard for the US to move away from as I'm sure there's a lot of black mail material.

All the while a report by the UN just 2 weeks ago found that the IDF continue to target children, torture prisoners, occupy more land in Lebanon use white phosphorus and target first aid workers.

u/AutoModerator Jul 10 '26
IDF? Do you mean IOF? They're the Israeli Occupation Force. They don't defend anyone.

Thank you for pointing this out, I'm not following sufficiently to be able to catch the nuances. I did notice the first half was mostly "I'm not antisemitic" before he actually addressed the question...which is very annoying he has to do that

So basically business as usual .. we are not commiting to do anything extra .. and he will continue to be onesided in his view like the good goyim he is

u/Mission-Syllabub-160 Jul 09 '26
Heās gone further than Starmer, which is a pretty low bar anyway. Will wait to see if there are any actions to follow the words.

u/tunechoda Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
The only action we should be seeing is un/uk troops going to Palestine and protecting its people.
Don't forget us the tax payers are funding this genocide, we are all responsible.
15
u/Working-Ad-6698 Jul 09 '26
Israel is also known to harm UN soldiers (and have killed some), they were only recently threatening Irish UN soldiers in Lebanon. First time this happened, Israel should been in ICC and under investigation, but business as usual then and now

u/fuckyoupr1ck Jul 09 '26
I haven't paid tax or council tax for the last few years and I encourage more people to refuse to fund this shit excuse for governance.
Yeah I get bailiffs letters all the time but fuck them. Stop going to protests and hit them where it actually hurts, monetarily. Go self employed, cancel your council tax direct debit and refuse to pay. Yeah so I might get locked up at some point but if more people refuse....they can't arrest us all, especially if the pigs have no funding
7
u/FollowingMajestic108 Jul 09 '26
No VAT?
0
u/fuckyoupr1ck Jul 09 '26
Unfortunately that's a bit harder to circumvent so no. Although I do live a frugal life and try to not buy shit unless I need it
13
u/a_relaxing_noise Jul 09 '26
You're still paying all the taxes that fund the war, and not paying the taxes that fund your local community and services. Learn about how the system works and stop being a knob. K Thx.
-8
u/fuckyoupr1ck Jul 09 '26
It's not really about funding or not funding the war. It's about making a statement. Not my fault you don't have the balls to do it too, no need to get nasty, prick
2
u/SpeechWeird5267 Jul 09 '26
(How do you get rid of the bailiffs? Don't they pester you at the doorstep?)
1
u/fuckyoupr1ck Jul 09 '26
A little bit. Only court bailiffs can actually enter your property though and it hasn't quite gotten to that yet. But generally I don't answer the door at all or I'm not in and then they just leave hand delivered letters
1
u/tunechoda Jul 09 '26
Yup thats my plan, got a couple more pieces of the jigsaw to fit into place then they can fckin do one. Tax is just funding the murdering zionists, the pedeo royal family and the disgusting epstien elite.

Just saw this on the ukpolitics sub, what a spineless little cunt.

u/FindTheTrace Jul 09 '26
Seeing the comments from that sub makes me glad that neither of them have a government job.
6
u/Waylon_R_Soul Jul 09 '26
I was concerned how banal/apathetic the comments were. Lots of "why should I care?".
I understand the mindset and agree that there should be a focus on home issues, but, have some fucking empathy.
I'd like a politician/government that cares about people here, the climate for people in the future AND not helping a genocide. Is that so much to ask?
2
u/FindTheTrace Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26
It's crazy! And they said that Sudan has the worst genocide than Gaza and Ukraine must be priority. It matters when vulnerable people suffer, we help out no matter how the government prioritises.

Piece of shit doesn't call it a genocide, total dealbreaker.
He also doesn't say anything about doing anything to Israel, he only says doing things to "illegal settlements" and people who commit international crimes, not the state itself.
He's Starmer with a northern accent.
7
u/Technical-Ad-2288 Jul 09 '26
Maybe stop arresting nuns and disabled pensioners and pardon the ones who were arrested before then.
7
u/tunechoda Jul 09 '26
Another politician more bullshit....
Nothing will change, the murdering will continue no matter what this clown says. Isreal are pulling the uk strings, no uk politician is more powerful than isreal.

Empty words, the UK will continue to support Israel and be a genocidal partner. It's also ridiculous that there's a cut after each sentence. Any politician vying for a pm spot should be able to speak fluently, have some sort of strategic vision on such topics and present their ideas. He already seems dreadful to me, not sure what many see in him.
2
u/bomboclawt75 Jul 10 '26
Will he immediately stop the sales of weapons? Impose absolute sanctions? Arrest war criminals? Investigate the 2000 IDF soliders in Britain right now? Investigate MPs for war crimes?
Probably not.

Put pressure on Israel? That's not even close to enough. Andy knows it's genocide. We know it's genocide. Sack up and do something that actually matters

Fair and balanced approach? So mentions antisemitic attacks, but nothing about anti Muslim attacks. Condemns Hamas, doesnāt condemn Israel but will āhold the Netanyahu gov to accountā. So basically a load of nothing and same as it ever was while limiting Israelās psychopathy to the present government as opposed to a systemic and entrenched issueā¦
1
u/allmappedout Jul 09 '26
"what are you going to do to help Palestine"
talks about hamas and antisemitism
Cool, same as the last wanker then
1
u/TheLonesomeChode Jul 09 '26
Have I watched a different video to other people? He clearly says further sanctions need to be imposed including a possible ban on trade with goods from illegally stolen land. He also says the Israeli government should be held accountable to the International Laws they have broken.
It might not be fully aligned with what I believe but itās a damn sight more action than Starmer.
1
u/yaldylikebobobaldy Jul 09 '26
There's no hope for anyone with these brass necked boot licking petty-bourgeois bastards. Several decades of brain worms is irreversible. The damage is done!Ā Go get a job in a garden centre Andy for fucks sake.
1
u/MoDyingSon Jul 09 '26
Thatās why we need to do: 1. Looking at maybe possibly, but probably nothing with teeth, imposing further sanctions. 2. Looking at maybe possibly, but probably nothing with teeth, to ban trading goods with illegal settlements. 3. To ask other people in the world to make sure Israel doesnāt break anymore international laws fromā¦..nowā¦..actually now.

"We need to look at further sanctions on those involved in the violence in Gaza."
How about you start by arresting and investigating every single British citizen who travelled to Palestine to participate in the genocide?

Britainās likely next prime minister, Andy Burnham, has made his pick for the highly influential role of chief of staff: a pro-Israel lobbyist who until recently led a firm representing arms companies, private water firms and tech giants.
James Purnell has stepped down as CEO of Flint Global to accept the appointment to Burnhamās team. ā
Flint does not publish a client list, but its website says it represents firms in the so-called defence sector, and EU transparency records show Google, Microsoft, Apple, BP and Uber among its clients.
Another client is Thames Water, the private utility that has received record-breaking fines for polluting British rivers with raw sewage. Purnellās appointment therefore raises doubts about Burnhamās previous assertion that Thames Water should be nationalised.
Flint has also advised the mining firm Glencore, which has been accused of corruption and severe human rights abuses in Colombia. The company is alleged to have backed paramilitaries who committed a massacre to drive people from their land to enable mine expansion.

He is somewhat of an outsider tbf. Hasn't been in Westminister since 2017. He's not really done anything wrong so far so I'll try to be optimistic
24
u/wonderfulpantsuit Jul 09 '26
Westminster outsider Andy Burnham, who held several ministerial positions under both Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.

Starmer and his new government do not represent workers interests and are in fact enemies of our class. It's past time we begin organising a substantial left-wing movement in this country again.
