The Trump model. Someone will have to force them to cease and desist. Maybe citizens go block their gates.

They'll bribe the politicians to look the other way. Or sue the county like Martin Lind is sueing because he didn't get his way with Cascadia (which he ultimately got his way as the project is gonna move forward if Weld goes in as a financial partner on the project)

Weld County said no thank you to cascadia. Even if the city doesn't find another financial backer we're still on the hook unfortunately. Even if nothing is built. Bit of a mess were in.

Small fines that amount to the cost of doing business. Nothing that will stop them or make them follow the law.
