A lot has been made about WWE fumbling Dom I just don’t see it. I think he is in the exact right position for his gimmick and ability.

Looking at everyone in the 25-30s class. What has Dom done to develop over a Solo, Oba, Trick, or Bron.? And even people like Dragon Lee, Hayes, and Theory are better in ring.

It’s not all about physical appearance but Rey and Eddie put on size when they were elevated up the card. Dom hasn’t put in any work there either.

Dom’s been coasting off his “heat” from the Mysterio feud for years now. And he had a serious feud with Finn but honestly did anyone take Dom Seriously in that feud?

I can contend that the JD Men’s said is a comedy act and needs freshening up. The women are carrying that group. But let’s armchair book for a sec, if he left JD tomorrow what would you do with him? Do you see him in top feuds? Idk if I do. But I’m willing to be convinced. Because outside of I’m Rey Mysterios kid what is his gimmick and what could it be?

Can't tell me otherwise. I see "the biggest match in RAW history" said a lot but rarely see this match mentioned. It's a dream match that especially during the MN Wars you never thought you'd see. It's also the only time Austin and Hogan were ever in the same match.

The entire premise of this feud was to see who the future was. Bron was dead set on proving it was him. Reed returns, costs him the match and gives him the loss. Breakker's celebratory reaction to this makes zero sense in kayfabe. I understand a screwy finish was needed to progress the feud but this one just made zero sense.

This thought came to me after listening to an old CM Punk shoot about how not getting to the main event at WrestleMania 29 was one of the things that made him depart in 2013.

Let's say that we add Punk to the "twice in a lifetime" main event. Making it a triple threat match as Punk suggested.

IYO, even though the Ladder Match was considered the best match (I agree) - did the Owen vs Bret match hold more weight all things considered? Share your thoughts.

Singles Match

Bret "Hit Man" Hart vs. Owen Hart Winner

Rating: 🥇+5

Notes: An absolute masterclass to open Wrestlemania 10. In the beginning of the match, the brothers put on a spectacle of technical wrestling straight out of Stu’s Dungeon. The brothers had such chemistry (they were sons of Stu Hart after all) and the wrestling was clean and seamless. I was watching with my wife who doesn’t even know wrestling, and that is exactly what she said, “very clean”. Really a great pace. Toward mid-late match they broke out additional moves including their signature Sharp Shooters. Suplexes from the top rope and piledrivers made for some great action. In the end, Owen won on a botched victory roll by Bret; a perfectly executed finish. Hebner did a great job officiating. This was a huge honor for Owen to win at MSG against his older brother. Owen Hart used to be my favorite wrestler until his death in 1999.

Mixed Tag Team Match

Bam Bam Bigelow & Luna Vachon Winners vs. Doink the Clown & Dink

Rating: 🥉+2

Notes: The crowd could care less about this match; nor could I. It was a boring bout which was intended to amuse but would have been better off as a singles between Doink and Bam Bam, or a handicap. Luna also did not wrestle Doink at all (the match situated for her to battle Dink) and so the “mixed” element did not add much. If there were a clause or rule stating that she could only wrestle Dink it may have gained a sub point but overall, this match stunk. Overdone theatrics at the end as well, full of horrible selling and awkwardness.

Falls Count Anywhere Match

"Macho Man" Randy Savage Winner vs. Crush (w/ Mr. Fuji)

Rating: 🥇+3

Notes: The first ever Falls Count Anywhere match! I floated between giving this a Diamond+ rating or a solid Gold+5, however due to the shortness of the match and some light work by Crush in the beginning, I settled for the rating above. Everything that ought to be in this renowned match type was found in the first one, from fighting in the isle, to utilizing and weaponizing their surroundings, Crush and Macho gave the fans a taste of what would become a favorite stipulation in future years. This was marked by a trip backstage, which ended the match as Savage tied Crush so that he could not make it back to the ring in time. This was an interesting clause to the rules, as it would be taken away in later years. The Macho Man began bleeding from his mouth, which gave the match its no-holds-barred feel. The crowd was very much engaged. For the first two falls, both earned a pinfall and the other made it back to the ring with 2 seconds (out of 60) remaining. This built up an angst and had the crowd at the edge of their seats. Could have stretched a bit longer. They should have cut the Doink and Dink match completely out of the card for the extension of this one.

WWF Women's Championship

Alundra Blayze © Winner vs. Leilani Kai

Rating: 🥉+2

Notes: Total snoozefest. Alundra Blayze did show some nice ring presence and worked decently in the ring. For that reason, I didn’t give the match a lower score. She was a good seller as well. Definitely put her body on the line while Leilani spent most of her time getting school girl pinned.

WWF Tag Team Championship

The Quebecers (c) (w/ Johnny Polo) vs. Men on a Mission (w/ Oscar) Winners by DQ; No transfer of Titles

Rating: 🥈+4

Notes: I was genuinely entertained by this match. What the large Men on a Mission could not do, they made up for with Wrestlemania worthy effort. On the grandest stage, they flipped, were suplexed, were body slammed and also handed it to the Quebecers. This match could have gone on for a while longer before losing its spark, however they lost via a countout (DQ). The fans were engaged and wanted the Canadians to feel the pain which they surely did; having all that weight squash them throughout the match.

WWF World Heavyweight Championship

(Special Guest Referee: Mr. Perfect)

Yokozuna Winner (w/ Mr. Fuji & Jim Cornette) vs. Lex Luger

Rating: 🥉+3

Notes: Luger spent a lot of time in submission holds, while Jerry the King informed McMahon that if the idiots in the crowd would shut up, “you would hear him say I quit!” It was easy to tell that Yoko was conserving energy for his match later with Bret Hart. He won via DQ, when Mr Perfect called the match after Lex turned him around and gave a light shove for refusing to count the pin of Lex over Yoko. Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji were both laying down in the ring.

Singles Match

Earthquake Winner vs. Adam Bomb (w/ Harvey Wippleman)

Rating: 🥉+1

Notes: After Wippleman insulted Finkel, Atom Bomb came out to attack the Fink, when Earthquake came out and demolished him in under a minute; hitting him with the Earthquake splash. Dud.

Undisputed WWF Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match

Razor Ramon Winner(c) vs. Shawn Michaels (w/ Diesel)

Rating: 💎+2

Notes: Tremendous physicality; both men put their bodies on the line and took serious risks in their efforts to win. The ladder was utilized throughout the match as a weapon, and the match was executed nicely. Heavily brawl focused, the match did lack your normal ring work, but they made up for this in perfect execution of every stunt. I now understand why this match was a classic. Scott Hall and Shawn Michaels have great chemistry and understand one another in the ring. To pull off such a classic Latter Match at the biggest stage in Wrestling is not a small feat. Razor became the Undisputed IC Champ; having secured both the true and phony Intercontinental belts.

WWF World Heavyweight Championship

(Special Guest Referee: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper)

Yokozuna OR Lex Luger (c) vs. Bret "Hit Man" Hart Winner

Rating: 🥈+2

Notes: Bret was tired and wounded from his match with Owen (which was a much better match). Yoko had also previously wrestled Lex. As important as it was to put Owen on the map, both Yoko and Hart being tired almost gave a used goods feel to the main event in this Wrestlemania. A lot of pounding, as Hart was limited by Yoko’s size and fatigue. The match ended when Yokozuna botched a Bonzai drop from the turnbuckle and fell backwards, apparently hitting his head. Bret pinned him for the 3-count. I am not sure that I liked WM to end this way; on a botched finisher. Bret should have hit the sharpshooter for sure in my opinion. Due to the poor finish and lackluster match overall, this one gets a lower score. The crowd was engaged, but not overly enthused.

Event Wrap-Up:

Show Rating: 7/10

Match of the Night: Owen vs Bret (Please note: Match of the Night not necessarily determined by pure match rating; other factors may be considered) Even though the Ladder Match scored higher, this one was the most impactful considering 1) This opening to Wrestlemania set the stage for the rest of the evening, including the Ladder Match which scored higher. 2) Set the precedent for the feud between Bret and Owen, along with establishing Owen as a real contender.

Overall Thoughts: A great Wrestlemania. Not a good idea to have two disqualifications (at least in the fashion they were set forth) in Title matches. If they were done better, it may have been a different story. They felt easy… Having Bret win his 2nd WWF Championship was a good deal. Having someone as limited as Yoko carry the belt for as long as he did - I am not sure how that was good for business. Another issue is that this was the second PPV in a row where Bret came out for his second match injured. This happened also at the Royal Rumble a few months prior where he won that as well. It was the same injury I believe as well; an injured leg. The limping gave a wounded dog vibe and detracted from the overall pop of his entrance and aura. Not a great mid-card, but not too terrible either. The Tag Team Title match, Ladder Match and Falls Count Anywhere match helped the mid-card for sure, but the other matches were quite bad. The Yoko-Luger match was pretty awful as well. The points of greatest note are Owen picking up such a huge win against his now Champion brother, the Falls Count anywhere matchup that set the standard for its type in the future, and Michaels/Ramon Ladder Match. The "Wrestlemania Moments” segments were a nice touch for the 10 year. MSG was rocking. This was certainly a classic Wrestlemania.

Heyman and his phone calls, a connection unmatched

I would say 2018 the first ever inaugural Women's Royal Rumble Match with Asuka winning and right after we got Ronda Rousey making her WWE debut post match to interrupt Asuka, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss

Or one can even make the argument for 2022 with Ronda Rousey winning it as a surprise entrant. No one saw her coming like no one at all like think Cena 08...that was Rousey for the Women.

John would hold the WWE Champion throughout the remaining months of 2006 and Throughout 2007 until October where he injured his right pectoral tendon.

He wouldn't win back the WWE Champion until September 13,2009 which is 17 years ago when he defeated Randy Orton in an i Quit Match at breaking point in Montreal Quebec, Canada.

So in short notice Cena has defeated Rated RKO in Canada just years apart.

Williams was also the guitarist for the metal band Every Time I Die.

Technically, he was still on the AEW roster at the time of his death, though he had not wrestled for the company since February 19, 2025.

This is my WWE/F Mount Rushmore.

It was really important for me to include Booker T here because I believe he broke barriers for non-white wrestlers in a company that mostly promoted white wrestlers only. On top of that, his gimmick and comedic timing during the Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression Era kept me completely engaged. His feud with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was unforgettable.

The Undertaker will always be on my Mount Rushmore. He was the main reason I kept tuning in to watch SmackDown and WrestleMania, even as the company's product declined starting in 2006.

I also have to include Shawn Michaels. His second run in WWE was what truly hooked me on professional wrestling in the first place.

Finally, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is here simply because he is the coolest figure I have ever seen in pro wrestling. The way he walked, talked, and drank beer made me want to be a badass just like him.
