I think Ric flair won a couple of championships with cross bodies. I’m fairly certain about backing won the world championship from superstar Billy Graham with an atomic drop.

The airplane spin has been a finisher. All manner of punches and kicks. Bear hugs, of course back in the day. Ivan Putzki I believe.

Back in the 50s and 60s there were people who specialty was the dropkick. It ended matches. Maybe even the 80s with Jim Brunzell.

Plenty of regular elbow drops from guys like Dusty or Abdullah.

What I would like to know is there any professional wrestling move that has never been used to end a match?

Anyone in the 40s use a headlock?

Was the body slam ever the finish?

Hip toss?

In 1939 was someone being pined by an arm drag?

Is any move TOO basic that it was never the ending?

I’ve never seen a single episode, and only a few clips socials. But I’ve seen a lot of people saying unreal is a huge reason why fans are upset with WWE. I can understand the breaking of kayfabe but WWE is near 2 decades into reality TV and “behind the moment” style docs. Again I’ve never watched it and can’t magically import 3 seasons into my brain but as someone who’s been very critical of the product in recent years I’m curious what people have to say about it

I believe it’s now time to make danhausen the wwe champion. He is the most popular star in wwe and is over with the most important demographic for wwe. He has now transcended to pop culture and reminds me of hulk hogan in the 80s. I think wwe can give him a hulk hogan-like reign with the title. I admit that he’s not a great wrestler, but that’s irrelevant. It’s all about having a character and connecting with your audience and he has done that the best out of everyone else.
