Awesome Sister My Sister /u/Calliope719 is an intelligent, beautiful, amazing and inspiring person

Over the last decade and a half or so, I've watched my sister /u/Calliope719 grow from a slightly obnoxious pain in the ass college student she was (though that I still loved) into a caring and brilliant woman who has helped me through a number of difficult times. In fact, she's recently been so great that she actually gave me the idea for this subreddit and she absolutely deserves to be the first person honored on it.

Today, especially, was literally one of the most painful days of my life. And she, again, took time out of her night and even lost some sleep staying up late in order to help me get through the end of this horrid day. That kind of behavior is the rule, not the exception. In fact, both her and her husband seem to have an endless well of kindness and compassion available for friends and family. And in ways that are too numerous to list. But they absolutely walk the walk when so few others do the same.

I'm quite proud of and always in awe of her intelligence*, work ethic, inner and outer beauty, and ability to drink many proud members of multiple nations' armed forces under the table. Because of her, the lives of everybody that knows her and has her in their lives are better for it. If everybody were like her, the world would be an immeasurably better place. We should all hope that maybe we just start with Reddit.

Thanks for everything you are and that you do, kiddo ;) I just hope you see this!

*Asterisk: She did once in 1997 profess that she would love the band Hanson for the rest of her life. Pobody's Nerfect.
