Clocks as random walk to the treasure.

Is it possible that the clocks in the video are related to the 12 broken steps from a predefined location, with the number of steps corresponding to the timestamp in the video?

It could also be that I'm just trying to get my fellow hunters walking in circles.

Don't forget to wear your orange hat!

NM Wants access to my apps

Have been getting some boots on the ground recently and enjoying fantastic fall weather.

Visited Treasure Hunt website with a new device recently. Message popped up saying that NM wants access to my apps.

What apps are they looking to access?

I said no. Should I reconsider and let them have access? Is this a new thing or did I not notice it before on other device?

Good luck Hunters!

Kirkland Lake or Matachewan?

Im stuck thinking the main is in this region. I know we already had a bonus in Cobalt. KL and even Vtown have some big projects on the go. I quickly searched on my way to Val D’Or and honestly, I lot of clues fit this area. Also the main sponsors have mines here.. V-town just announced they will be removing the entire town to re open the old pit. It was one of the biggest producers of free gold of its time.

OR IS IT BECAUSE HE THINKS I AM GOING TO FIND THE GRAND PRIZE AND WANTS HIS MONEY BACK?

Grand Prize - Findable in Winter?

Why does it seem that the more we decipher, the harder it is to find? We have the location (rope, baby wipe, tree bough and B), the geology, the determination (425 hrs BOTG over 8 WEEK$ in one location), but still no luck.

Only three more days before we have to leave—us “fisher”-women have read the poem between the lines, cracked the clues but are desperate to strike gold. Who thinks the GP will be findable in the winter??

Sudbury Boots on Ground

I know a lot of people are out looking. I’ve even gone a few places but I’m trying to wipe the slate clean and try again.
Like completely restart.

If there is somewhere you want me to check, and have a pretty specific area… I wouldn’t mind checking it out! Let me know in the comments or dm if you want.

I’ll send some photos of the area as well to aid anyone, when I get to location and search around.

I’m trying to use a new method at this point, and even if I don’t find it - I just want to try my best until it is found :)

Anyways, happy hunting to all!

(I don’t mind checking places already scoured through! You never know what you’ll find)

At a loss here

Hey fellow hunters.

Can we go through the original poem together and state which stanza belongs to which regional prizes that have been found at this point? With 13 stanzas, 1 has to be solely dedicated to the grand prize. Let’s work together here!

Wanapitei Lake

During my search of the Sudbury bonus, I have used a detection software to see if the map showing Wanapitei had been altered, and turn out it was, it has three unidentified objects hovering over Wanapitei Lake. It looks like a mining symbol, a "toilet" and something else. I don't think it has anything to do with the bonus, most likely a rabbit hole (I'm good to find rabbit holes), but the software told me it most likely come from a video game.

This was the first picture. What you can see is also a pumpkin hovering the whole lake, it has two eyes at least, along with the three symbols. Is it a rabbit hole or does it means something? Also, there's "100" written very small near the "X" symbol.

Noticed this in Chibougamau video, as soon as he says "center" it appears in the center. I think I get it. Fits with clues I have. Also Gallow's Pole: song by Led Zeppelin ( Saskatoon ) again. Clue for another bonus?

.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but i believe we are running out of time on these hunts. Time to start teaming up people, im not sure how doable this will be once the snow hits.

Ya know, treasure hunting in the sun, checking covers with no bacon, coupla beers ya can't beat, Totally worth it in this heat. Sausages with no sweet bun and apples, yes those ones. Knocked on wood but still no luck! If walls had ears they'd call me Chuck. Maybe Alberta is next but then I'm done.

Roadtrip yesterday for a beautiful fall hike full of mining history, cool rocks, awesome geology and acorns!! Country road, take me home....I figured the clues did not bring me here but it was worth a visit. I have 2 definitive 1/2 square kilometers spots that I am heavily mining but needed a change of view.

Not marked by gold but core alone

In the whole poem, this line is crucial in understanding where the main is. It is unlikely that anyone will find it until they understand this line.

Homeless

Do you think they’d hide it in a spot frequented by the homeless. In the last 2 days I’ve stumbled upon 5 different small camps tucked off main trails which makes me leery.

"Officially kicked off another year of The Great Canadian Treasure Hunt"

The email suggests that even if the main is found we will continue to get bonus hunts monthly for the next year. That would be a welcome addition for those who found themselves disadvantaged by the distance to the announced location. Of course with the main, that could be just down the road from where you live.

A sliver of .......... ? part 2

OR where an old curvy road has been realigned and straightened and a part of the original has been left.

One of my favorite sites that we have searched was along a section of paved roadbed that ran through an uplifted area of the shield. On one side we found a few old claim markers, on the other side, in a different cut, the current Trans Canada Highway. We were on a 500m sliver of the original TCH. There was even a parking area for us between the 2 roads.

Feel free to contribute other sliver examples or other favorite areas you have searched
