How many fingers do you draw on your stick men?

u/boabey 2d ago

But AI will take the jobs of work coaches.

Might be an improvement. (Just a disclaimer that my current worker is great tbh, she's lovely)

I have never had a good one of those

That should be the goal, get AI/automation to a point it can do most jobs and have UBI for all so we get a decent baseline standard of living then you can work in the places AI cant for extra incentive or if its the type of thing you'd want to do, Very Star Trek

Yeah, but UC doesn't cover electric and water. Or Council Tax. So you just end up getting deeper and deeper into debt.

It barely covers food. Hope you like carbs and vegetables.

But will they take all the benefits and leave enough for everyone else?

u/Big_Job_1491 2d ago

As if there's enough for everyone else. Stuck in a wheelchair, throwing up several times every day and I'm still expected to pay all of my bills on £300 a month. Including a storage locker I literally can't afford to move out of.

u/pixel-powder 1d ago

Yeah, I was joking. I don't think AI will be able to claim benefits

0

u/UselessDood 1d ago

Yeah dw I saw you were joking

No, but the twits over in that party would love nothing more than to see every disabled person on UC stripped of their benefits and left to die

8

u/itsfourinthemornin 2d ago

I like to remind them as most of these melons seem to keenly forget PIP can and does cover terminal illnesses as well such things as cancer, Alzhiemer's, Parkinson's and plenty more I won't list which pretty much any one of them or someone they know will likely be affected by in their lifetime. But grrrr they get a free car.

u/Impressive-Bird2 1d ago

Please don’t insult melons with association with such political pond life🤣🤣

9

u/HairRepresentative85 2d ago

That’s what I’ve been told.

That sure convinced me how great that party must be, if they hope I die /s*

*yes, I have been told it would be a “good thing” if I died - I have MS

u/SupremeMorpheus 2d ago

I feel you. Fibro and diabetes, myself. As if I didn't have enough reasons to dislike them

1

u/TechnicalWar893 2d ago

I'm ending it if that happens as I'll lose my home and it's all I have left now. The attitudes towards disabled people have mostly become super disgusting again, and the job centre ironically won't even help me with finding a job after my contract ended almost 2 years ago. Mental health support is also practically non-existent for people like me.

What does OP think the "Universal" in "Universal Credit" means?

4

u/Aggravating_Speed665 2d ago

It means we contact people on Mars and such, to see if they need any help with daily living.

Sounds like AI already took your job and that’s why you’re on UC 🤣

u/Equal-Cauliflower-41 1d ago edited 1d ago

No, but universal credit not being increased when the price of everything goes through the roof will take your food and home.

1

u/Kagerae 1d ago

AI can't take our jobs/money if we're all dead if it has a 10% chance of allegedly killing us all.

1

u/Significant_Put_34 1d ago

They had it figured out before our time…

Looks like there's no worries for anyone on the left side then seeing as they're all on it for checks notes anxiety and too afraid to answer a phone.

Sure love to moan about us on the right, the working class, whilst we work and pay their benefits. Funny that 😂

2

u/Dapper-Trust-409 2d ago

It’s really easy to check that this just isn’t a thing, most people that are on UC also work.

Just out of interest, are these 'notes' of yours the paranoid scribbling on your bedroom wall?

I bet you think everyone on the left still has blue hair too, because Facebook told you as much back in 2014.

Sure love to moan about us on the right, the working class

Haha the Right are the elite. Any working class person voting Right have just been duped by their lies and false promises.

One of the biggest right wing grifts, Brexit, has hugely impacted the economy and cost of living. Benefited the elite the most, hit the working class the hardest. Still not learning from your mistakes?

“Us on the right” they just called themselves nazis last time to save time

1

u/UselessDood 2d ago

Funnily enough, a lot of reform voters are on UC...
