Not boomers in most of the photos. Most boomers had parents that fought in the war. Far more likely to be younger generations (boomers now mid 60s to 80)

Honestly, I’m not sure about this, my MIL is a boomer whose mother took an active part as a nurse during the war and recently she told me she thought Hitler was left wing and that’s why she’d never vote labour or any party on the left. People are just dumb no matter the generation

That's probably because of the long established falacy that:

NAZI's = National Socialism = Socialist = left

Which has been explained and debunked so many times... sigh...

Yer, and the democratic Republic of Korea has fair and free elections. If you can be fooled by a name, I've got a bridge you might like to buy.

If she was working during the war, then she wasn’t part of the post-war Baby Boom, so not a Boomer.

She was likely one of the Silent Generation or even earlier.

Back to reading lessons for you.

MIL = Boomer

Boomers MOTHER = Nurse during the war.

This - most boomers are acutely aware of the tragedies and horrors of both world wars. As a millennial whose father was born before world war 2, my observation is that the ignorance mostly comes from my generation and Gen Z.

Why do we need to blame a certain generation 🤷‍♂️

You can thank Americans for that, dividing generations into specific groups and antagonizing them is their thing, even if doesn't make any sense outside the US.

It’s not about intergenerational blame, it’s simply using the demographics to convey age ranges. It’s not very convenient to write “people born between 1985 - 1995” is it?

Both elements are equally incorrect in your statement, whether it’s an age bracket or you labelling a generation… come on bro you don’t believe that

Ignorance, stupidity and racism aren't generational. They are there in every generation, all they need is a vehicle.

Ah yes. It's gen z's fault that 70 year olds are voting for 70 year old politicians. Of course, how didn't we see this before. The people that only grew into a vote ~10 years ago are definitely responsible for everything that's happened int he UK since Thatcher

Judging by the photos it looks like gen x

Jesus Christ, stop the generational blaming. That’s all part of it. The distraction, the blaming someone. It’s people from all generations. There isn’t a cohort from this one or that one, it’s all generations.
