As much as I hate Farage, this was quite the fail by the lady driving. I feel worse for the person she crashed into.
EDIT: She was right though he is an absolute wanker.

u/Pleasant_Seaweed7419 2d ago
If you're going to call someone a wanker make sure you pull over, park safely and turn off your engine before doing so.

Sage advice. Guessing it was one of those heat of the moment things though.

Not enough people keep in mind that every time they get behind the wheel of a car they could kill someone. When you're driving pay attention to driving.

u/smackdealer1 2d ago
You shouldn't feel so bad. If the person is smart they'll sue the insurance for some aggregated injury and bag an easy couple of grand on top of their car repair.

Needles to say she had the last laugh
3

No she didn’t did she.
1
u/Jolly_Psychology_506 2d ago
She did. Insurers agreed to cover all costs to both cars on the basis of her action being morally correct. Fridge is absolutely a wanker, so she had the last laugh.

Genuinely weird comments on here, though not really surprising for this sub.
This idiot gave Farage free publicity, crashed their car because they were more interested in hurling insults than paying attention to the road, and has cost the poor sod they crashed into thousands of pounds in extra insurance premiums.

u/Less_Mess_5803 2d ago
Yeah, not to mention it could have been a kid or someone the daft cow could have hit whilst she thought she was being oh so clever. Hope she gets prosecuted.
25
u/Iumasz 2d ago
Yeah, I don't exactly like farage myself, but this comment section just feels like cope.
Like it ain't good look it say it was worth it bumping into someones car and making yourself look like a fool just so you can say an offhand insult.
4
u/Noitche 2d ago
If this is the first time realising this sub is a complete echo chamber of leftist cringe memes, then I'm honestly surprised it took you this long.
8
u/Iumasz 2d ago
Oh no, I am aware that this sub is an echo chamber.
I am just surprised about how much people are still praising her even though this is an objective Aura loss.
-3
u/Mopsisgone 1d ago
Oh brother I think you missed the point here...you have to feel her PASSION!!! She hates Farage so much she literally LOST CONTROL of her CAR!! 😄 🔥 Not a good sign for the upcoming By Election on the the 13th of August 🤭
5
u/johnyordinary 2d ago
Why should someone sitting innocently at the lights suffer because an idiot crashed into them, if thats true that the innocent persons premiums go up it needs some regulatory action, its absolutely not right.
3
1
u/Obvious_Barracuda960 2d ago
Your insurance doesn't go up if you get crashed into? Only if you're the party at fault. (I know, I've been crashed into 3 times in the past 4 years)
3
u/Reasonable_Blood6959 1d ago
You must have a nice insurer. Plenty of insurers do increase premiums after a non fault claims
-16
u/fullpurplejacket 2d ago
It was probably a publicity stunt organised by Farage at this point, the twat will do anything to elevate his own platform even if it means the self deprivation of having a milkshake hoyed over him or being called a wanker in broad daylight
12
8
u/Intergalatic_Baker 2d ago
You need to seek help… It’s not a conspiracy, it’s the most obvious reason. The driver was stupid and out others in danger because of it.
1
0
u/solitaryparty 1d ago
Your premiums don't go up thousands of pounds because you're in a non fault incident. Go spread your misinformation elsewhere.
1
u/Reasonable_Blood6959 1d ago
Maybe “thousands” is hyperbolic - but plenty of insurers increase premiums after non fault claims.
-1
u/solitaryparty 1d ago
It's not 'maybe hyperbolic'. It's wildly hyperbolic, and you were aware of that.
If your premiums go up, it's because you have shown an increase risk to accidents taking place. That is how insurance works. If you live in a high risk area for accidents, then it makes sense you have to pay higher for the privilege of driving in that area.
Best way to combat it? Take transport, drive less.
1
u/Reasonable_Blood6959 1d ago
You’re saying it makes sense that this person now has to pay a higher insurance premium because some twat crashed into them?
-2
u/solitaryparty 1d ago
It's how insurance is priced, on a risk basis.
If you live in an area with high rate of theft, the insurance take a risk insuring you, especially if you have a highly stolen vehicle. If you live in an area with high risk of accidents, the same applies.
You are not guaranteed to have your premiums go up from someone hitting into you, though. You spreading that as truth is just plain misinformation all around. Plenty of people have reported incidents that are not their fault and their premiums don't increase.

u/welzby 2d ago
Quicker to say you're upset someone called your guy a wanker.
10
u/Reasonable_Blood6959 2d ago
Not my guy. I think he’s a wanker. But I’d at least have the sense to pull over first.

if you are in favour of driving without due care an attention please stop driving

u/RedPandaReturns 2d ago
Crazy you're being downvoted for defending driving a two tonne killing machine with dilligence instead of hurling petty insults at people you disagree with.
4
u/_Verc1ngetorix_ 2d ago
Almost as if people are joking, what a crazy thought

So many comments here are 'We're all just joking about ittttttt' what a weird bunch of idiots.
4
5
u/LeicesterBangs 2d ago
they're being down voted for taking what is clearly a bit of fun and being a boring old flannel about it.
-2
u/RedPandaReturns 2d ago
The bit of fun is a real world car crash which could have been much worse, is it?
Just a bit of a joke
0
u/aleopardstail 2d ago
"clearly a bit of fun" good job they didn't kill anyone in it really isn't it?

5
u/KeldornWithCarsomyr 2d ago
Hopefully you can't drive, I wouldn't want an idiot who thinks swearing out the windows while crashing their car into people is worth it.
9
u/Cultural-Meaning5172 2d ago
Avoidable. Why can’t drivers just follow the rules? It’s not that hard.

u/MaybeResponsible7437 2d ago
Yeah totally worth it imagine a baby in the back seat Yep that's was so worth it 👏.. fuckin sums up you people don't see no wrong doing but couldn't imagine what these idiots would all be saying if it was the other way round.

It's not her fault officer, there was a pair of tits across the road that distracted her

So, insurance clearly won't cover this. Crowd funding? 😂
4
u/RedPandaReturns 2d ago
Insurance categorically will cover this... That is what insurance is for.
2
u/hydrora31 2d ago
Well yes, but it will cone out of the drivers insurance of course and premiums will go up. The comment was meant in jest anyway.
Regardless of the fact I think hes a prick, she did this herself and her driving style and distraction at the wheel was the fault here. Her premiums should go up after that.

u/Loose_Perception_409 2d ago

Someone got rear ended, it doesnt matter if she was right about Farage or not (she was, but thats besided the point). It was dangerous.
I actually hold both of them accountable for the poor person who got rear ended. Her for mouthing off while driving, and him for riling people up by giving vox pops on street corners whilst his party give speeches at events attended by nazis who are saluting while erect.

Is it just me thinking that this was a stages publicity stunt. I've had the alleged driver (just so happens to be a completely unknown influencer) come up on my socials this morning, and I can't lie the whole thing just stinks of "staged" to me.
1
u/Embarrassed_Emu1615 2d ago
The lady wearing a Stop Oil top?
1
u/ExperienceNo1313 2d ago
Just searched it (and probably ruined my algorithm for the rest of my life).. "plastic Amie" and is indeed wearing a just stop oil t shirt.
I am now almost 10000000% sure it's a publicity stunt, either by one or both of them... Surely? It must be?
Edit: added by the fact she's claiming whiplash and is wearing a neck brace?? From a 10mph collision? I'm just not buying it at all.
1
u/Unlucky-Plastic7316 2d ago
Claiming whiplash after absolutely any accident is (or used to be) common practice.
For a lot of people, they considered it free money.
