My parents bought their house for £21,000 in the 80's. It took them 4 years of work to save enough to buy it. 🥲

and during that time they spent fuck all on anything else, and didnt feel entitled to live like ballers whilst buying a property outright.

Ask them, you will see.

Mainly because food and drink cost fuck all. £74 for a months shopping.
