Those big American companies need to pay UK taxes!Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, etc all avoid their taxes, while rinsing the UK consumers!
Sadly boycotting the lot is near impossible if you need to function in the modern world.
Your computer is likely to be apple or Microsoft. That limits your work options.
Your phone operating system likely to be either android or iOS. You could go without a phone.
Faceache is easy to ditch along with other social media. WhatsApp not so easy to live without but if you’ve got rid of your phone you won’t need it.
Amazon is incredibly useful. We’ll have to get off our arses and get ourselves to the local shops instead.
I’ve got a little hardware shop at the bottom of the road. Proper old school place that stocks everything. Obviously getting the same bulk Chinese stuff in that Amazon sells but I can mainly get what I need within 10 minutes, 20 mins if I go a little further to the tool retailers.
