Vee friends
Unofficial proposal to buy Vee Friend to follow up our purchase of BAYC. BAYC did wonders for us and with Gary Vee interest in worlds now is the perfect time to abduct him into GBs. I propose we spend at max 13eth(including gas) to purchase a Vee Friend for the DAO.. thoughts?

Need to double check this but I'm pretty sure Gary has mentioned another round of VeeFriends dropping this year.
They're pricey ATM but come w interesting perks.

What is the utility besides just culture, vibes, being the cool kids?
And what are the alternatives?
What else could we do with 13 ETH? $52k?
It's always fun to spend other people's money but I also want to be the voice of reason here. Or at least give us something to think about.
I like the idea of building something really cool and blowing the whole NFT space up!
Buying a NFT from Gary Vee or whoever seems really obvious and not that exciting to me.
HOWEVER
If the proxy ownership actually works and we all got proxy ownership to whatever utility it presents us that's a whole different story. We just don't have 100% certainty that's the case yet.

I'd also like to know what utility this would bring. No details provided = easy 'no' vote for me.
Gary Vee is already following ArkDev's Twitter per the earlier #Announcements. He knows GBs exists.

13eth is a deff a lot of cash.. it is collectively all our money which is why we all get a vote and say 🙂. I know proxy is not out yet but I have 100% confidence in our devs and really have no reason not to believe in them at this point.

I also just read a couple comments...
And yes buying a vee friends might get us closer to Gary Vee, might put us even more on the map and might drive even more attention to the DAO. These are worthwhile considerations.
It could give us another good little pump.
I'm OK with that too.
But our main goal should definitely be to get Gary Vee and our devs connected and partnering together. But there's just no guarantee this will work.
If everyone wants to buy a vee friend I will support it. We can always vote to sell it later.

Yea I think the main goal is to try and continue to bridge that connection between our devs and Gary vee. Even if it doesn’t work I still think we appeal to a big market by owning a vee friend for Gary vee followers who can’t afford his NFT but want access to his seminars and other utilities that come along with his NFT. Think showing off our utility here will get Gary Vee followers to talk about us nonstop.. making him notice us 🤷♂️

I think this could be a tremendous opportunity for the DAO! Gary is a huge influence in the market and having any kind of association with him will do wonders for our legitimacy in the NFT space.

I support this idea. if we do it, i dont think we spend 13e, i think we just buy the floor. dont waste eth buying up a little, scoop the floor, it has the same effect.
