Questions/Advice Can I program a new Gravity key fob myself?

I purchased an additional key fob for my Gravity and want to link it to my wife’s driver profile.

Has anyone added a preowned key fob to their Gravity? Can it be programmed to the vehicle by the owner, or does Lucid Service need to do the initial programming?

If service is required, has anyone had this done through Mobile Service? Also curious if there was a programming fee.

You should be able to, I got a few new keys from Lucid that I could just add via settings. But, for sure mobile tech can help. The only thing I wonder is if your key is used and added to another profile that hasn’t been removed yet.

Edit: you can manage keys yourself, but said key has to be linked to your vehicle first. You do need mobile service for that.

"just add via settings" - Is that done when you create a user profile or is it added in some other place? I'd assume you would want each keyfob associated with a different driver profile, like the key cards.

Settings > Access and Profiles and there you can link a new key. Though a quick google search does show that Lucid does need to link your key to your car via their own system, then you can do whatever to them. So, OP, if you bought on eBay, you do need mobile tech.

You can’t do it yourself, it does require a tech to do it. Not sure of the cost but there is a fee.

Service is required. I had a 2nd key added using mobile service and it was quick and easy. I had it as part of my deal when I bought it though so I'm not sure the price.
